Checklist of things that need to be done at the beginning of the new year:

[edit] Archive Weekly Fanstuff
- Create Weekly Fanstuff 2007 if necessary.
- Move contents of fanstuff, leaving only most recent fanstuff as template.
- Update {{Weekly Fanstuff}}.
- Redirect Weekly Fanstuff 2008 to Weekly Fanstuff.
- When first fanstuff of year arrives, replace current template item.
- Note: Whenever possible, anchored links to specific 2007 Weekly Fanstuff must be changed to point to Weekly Fanstuff 2007. (example)

- Create Sketchbook 2007 if necessary.
- Move contents of sketchbook to Sketchbook 2007, leaving only most recent sketchbook as template.

- Change the category for H*R.com updates 2007 from Category:Regular Updates to Category:Past Updates.
- Create Talk:H*R.com updates 2008 with
{{updates-talk-box}}. - Update {{updates-box}} and {{updates-talk-box}} with new pages
- Change redirect of H*R.com updates and Talk:H*R.com updates to point to H*R.com updates 2008 and Talk:H*R.com updates 2008, respectively.
- Once Sketchbook and Weekly Fanstuff have been archived, use a text editor (with find & replace) to change all links in H*R.com updates 2007 to Sketchbook 2007 and Weekly Fanstuff 2007 respectively. (See this example.)
