I was in Math class.
A teacher got an answer wrong so I told her how she got it wrong and such. She said I was wrong. About 30 people proved that I was right. This is what the teacher said:

"I don't care. I am the teacher. I am always right."

???

Ughhh. Words cannot describe how that attitude disgusts me. A teacher's job is to teach, and to teach correctly, and to teach facts. Not their own "facts", real facts. If they have made an error -- and everybody makes mistakes, even teachers -- then it is their job to amend it.

My school bans iPods and cell phones, but nobody cares if they are used during school hours. Even during lessons.

But for some reason, video games get confiscated. Even if you aren't playing them.

You are also allowed to swear horrendously during many classes. Example: *As the lunch monitor is walking by* Kid: #%!& you, you God #&*@ ^#*@$*%!!

My English teacher wants some essay I'm doing done in a special format which apparently requires some Windows 2000 tool. Which, stupid as it is, gets worse. Because of this, I have to save my whole report to my flash drive and plug it into the school computer. But because I use Works and my school uses Word, it didn't work. So I got yelled at for it. Jeez, so ridiculous.

I managed to easily resolve this problem by e-mailing it to myself and opening at school, but it's still stupid.

My school just got a bomb threat, and dealt with it by banning backpacks for two days, and forcing everyone to cram into the cafeteria before school starts. In addition, our awesome lunch program is getting discontinued, and we have a new "digital portfolio" system which requires us to scan all our work into computers. And I used to think our school was pretty cool.

Just for fun, I openly supported pedophilia and racism in a Citizenship class. Hilarious stuff. The teachers ignorance really showed through. She seemed to think that pedophile->child rapist. When I objected, she said, "But that is the DEFINITION of the WORD!"

Lies I say.

Also, there was a new teacher who told people off for things that were fine, and if someone objected, she wouldn't argue back. Rather, she would call upon another teacher to defend her.
