If they really do it...i dunno... i may just not use the gun or something... i hope they arent serious.

...are you nuts? Sonic was not ment to be the next SOCOM, it was meant to be good clean fun....but ill prolly buy it anydangways and just kinda...not use the guns.

Shadow? Gun? auugh! It's sega trying to get the sonic series popularity back up! But why add guns? Maybe Because Sonic Heroes was such a failure, they wanted to create something they have never done with the sonic series? Why would Sega wanna add guns to such a clean series?

Hey, there's nothing wrong with giving a child friendly video game character a gun and then release the game so millions of children want guns and be like shadow therefore making the youth of our nation less innocent, now is it?

I heard of this last week, and as a Sonic fan, I was downright appauled because:
1.I freakin' hate Shadow! :sm:

2.Why does he have a gun?! He has no reason to have a gun!

As long as it's a new Sonic game, it's good. Even though Shadow doesn't need the gun. No Sonic character needs weapons! They all have super powers!

Ok? there were guns in Sonic adventure 1+2 and sonic heros.

Anydangway, its a weird concept, and im sure many people hate it, but every time theres a concept thats sounds downright BAD, remember wind waker my freinds. Did anyone think it would be a good game? No! was it a good game? Yes!

Anyways, just from that short clip, you cant tell very much about it lets just wait tell we can play a demo

I like the new school Sonic games. The old formula of "Run right and run right fast" was getting really old. Dident like Sonic heros though. Too Liner.

As a die hard sonic fan, Sonic Heroes made me not be one anymore. I used to be, but these freakin' gimmicks are getting on my nerves! What ever happened to the simple videogames that involved "saving this princess" or "Play tennis with this stick"?

i hate mario. Whatever happened to "Whiz through the level as fast as you frickin can!" style gameplay. It was sooooo fun! But now its "WHiz through the level as fast as you can while blasting the crap outta stuff with a gun" gameplay....i dont like it.

I am inclined to agree with Seethroo's post. I am slowly accepting that the Sonic series has gone down the crapper, but it still pains me to see what new lows it will go to. This game looks entirely like it was concieved by a committee. "Let's see, kids like angsty anti-heroes and blowing crap up with big guns, right? That's gotta sell. What can we stick these elements into? Hey, that Sonic series is pretty popular..."

But without the gun, the game would be decent, which kills me. They can finally make a decent new sonic game and they add some crappy gimmick.
