My psych teacher... @_@;; I understand it's his first year teaching the class to IB kids, and he is a coach at heart, but honestly...did they HAVE to get HIM to do it? His grammar is horrendous, and he's walking us through this IA* bit by bit and I don't like to do things that way - I find it more tedious than helpful. My first IA was basically "Welcome to Environmental Systems, do an IA" - the teacher assigned it and then there was really nothing more said of it until it was due. And because the Psych and Science IAs have essentially the same components, it's like, just let me do this on my own time, alright? It's not due until after break. I'd planned on doing it over break anyway. I hate revising things I've written - I've never liked writing drafts and haven't bothered if I could get away with it. And for some reason talking about this with my guidance counselor caused me to become hysterical.

*IA: Internal Assessment. Lab report, basically.

My friend has TWO ESSAYS FOR HOMEWORK OVER THE CHRISTMAS BREAK!!! THE TEACHER IS INSANE!!! I told her to just download Strong Bad's englilsh paper, but she said no. Then I told her to write "this is stupid" for four pages and print it out twice, and highly considered it.

Wow, essays. They take an hour, two hours maximum...if your friend doesn't have that kind of time to sit down and do work, then I'd like to see how they manage a few years from now.

First off, they could be incredibly long english ones about some subject that"s impossible to explain in more than a paragraph. Secondly, it can take days for one to write an essay (Me, for instance) because, unless I really know what I'm talking about, I have to make every sentence perfect.

That'll really screw me when I take the ACT.
They are very long English papers, and they're made even more difficult by the fact that the teacher is very harsh in grading, and I think she's literally insane. One day, she was talking to a teacher out in the hall, then burst in screaming and slapping the door.

If her name happens to be Ms. Madsen, I pray for you.

Long story short, we had a lockdown, they marched us to the bus garage for two hours, and only like 18 people got to eat lunch.

My school showed us a video on how to exit a bus. It was mandatory. First topic? "Using the front door".

This isn't necessarily the school's fault, but the fire alarms have gone on spasms twice in the last month at my high school. The first one had us waiting outside for fifteen minutes or so, then going back inside, only to have the alarm go off again for another five or so minutes. Then, earlier this week, I'm assuming that somebody pulled the fire alarms or something and we had to go outside twice for a total of approximately thirty minutes. Fun times; too bad I couldn't get the internet outside on my iPod Touch.

Apparently, this is offensive.

My Principal obviously has no knowledge of Kentucky State Parks.

Well, I was going to tell him to Google it, but, I decided not to anger the Principal. Especially since I'm pretty much going to be working in the office next semester.

It's kind of a risky string of words to enter into Google, state park or otherwise. I'm willing to bet - but not test the theory - that the first three or so results will be the state park's official page, the Wikipedia page, and maybe another page, and the rest will all be prons.

^Pretty much what he said. But maybe tell the principal that sometime soon and explain that it's in no ways offensive.

This is exactly why I wanted to, and exactly why I didn't.

And I told him it was a State Park, and he said "I don't doubt it's a legitimate thing, but you shouldn't wear it anymore, now cover it up, don't wear it again, and be thankful I'm not giving you a D-Hall. "
And something along those lines.

Just something about a principle saying 'D-hall' bothers me.

ANYWAYS: I remember this one time my lit. teacher pulled me out of class to tell me that my behavior had slanted toward the more 'aggressive' side since I came back from break.

So your trying to tell me that India changed me? RACIST!!!!! I CALL SHENANIGANS!!!

This is why I tend to avoid pronouns on the Internet.

Hmmm there was a really stupid healthy eating scheme a good thing normally but they took it too far. My friend swears he saw a Pot-noodle in the head teachers desk.

My old maths teacher's room smelt like Pot Noodle. One friday I said to him, "Teach, did you have a bacon pot noodle today? Those things are rank."

My school recently decided that we were making them lose a lot of money every year from lunches, so-get this- they started CHARGING FOR CONDIMENTS. 30 cents for a (1) pack of ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, ranch dressing, etc. Plus, if you want a tray, that's another 30 cents.

My school is run by Satan.

That's what 250 years of isolationist policies gets you.

Okay so get this.
As a running joke for about two years now, my friends and I have had a fake organization called SAMM, students against (teacher's name). My good friend decided he should make a facebook group about it. Thank god I didn't have a facebook then. So a large group of people join it, and one of the teacher's pets reported the group as a hate site to the admins. Of course, they called down the entire group down to the auditorium, which included about 20 people from band and a few from choir, and some other people. They threaten them all with 10 days suspension for joining a facebook group. Then they only give the honor student creator of the group suspension, but the school breaks out in protest. We make locker signs, t-shirts, and the like. Then they threaten to suspend all of us. Didn't go over too well. Kid gets back into school, everything's cool.

The end.
