Heaven forbid a teacher actually DOES her job! I hate people like that, don't you?

Also, most of time kids will pick some F-- kid instead of a smart kid.

Yeah, but where's the people's voice in that? If it weren't for the people, we'd be living in a country where elections wouldn't happen.

Yes, but is a school a country? Nope.

My old school thought dead grass looked bad so kids were not allowed to walk on the grass. That part is sensible.
But to stop kids walking on the grass they eventually had to put up 2 metre high fences along the sides of every path, and blocking off every grass area. This is even more stupid than it sounds because it was one of those schools with buildings very spread apart and mostly grass in between. The school effectively cut off more than half of the kids play area.
Cos now it looks much nicer! That whole jail yard feel!

Heck, my PRIVATE elementary school was nowhere NEAR that strict...so it's not just public school.

I agree with everyone else about you lying.

My friend has TWO ESSAYS FOR HOMEWORK OVER THE CHRISTMAS BREAK!!! THE TEACHER IS INSANE!!! I told her to just download Strong Bad's englilsh paper, but she said no. Then I told her to write "this is stupid" for four pages and print it out twice, and highly considered it.

High School, yeah, tons of homework.

You don't get any like that in college though, since there aren't really that many classes that spans both the Fall and spring semesters.

Wow, essays. They take an hour, two hours maximum...if your friend doesn't have that kind of time to sit down and do work, then I'd like to see how they manage a few years from now.

First off, they could be incredibly long english ones about some subject that"s impossible to explain in more than a paragraph. Secondly, it can take days for one to write an essay (Me, for instance) because, unless I really know what I'm talking about, I have to make every sentence perfect.

That'll really screw me when I take the ACT.

I doubt that this person is talking about gigantic english essays (a page front and back is not gigantic).
