And yes, I absolutely think they lurk here on occasion, probably when they get super bored or they're looking for new ideas. I'm still suspicious that "Date Nite" was inspired by one of the shipping threads.

I specifically remember reading an interview where they said they don't lurk on here. They said they used to, and then somebody said that they "jumped shark." They said anybody who says that 2 brothers making cartoons in their basement have "jumped shark" is rediculous, and they now try not to pay attention to what people say about there toons and don't read h*r forums anymore.

I think it was determined that they do when they had that Halloween where they dressed characters up as Toad, Tingle, and a Devo guy. Clearly direct references to me, Teff, and Jitka.

I think they do because some of the stuff we talk about there do sometimes end up on the site. I have noticed that in a few toons.

I don't see why it's so out there that they would check on this place once in a while. I mean, they do know about the wiki, and in knowing about the Wiki you know about the message boards. And I'm sure they would come here to see what the majority of their fans think about something.

Although I don't know what to think of that because of all the fans who will swallow anything they put out (ie decemberween).

yeah what dragon said. It would be cool though, if they left a post saying that they did read the fourm, but you know impersonators it might not be them. If there will ever be a post like that, i vote we give the some type of test to see if there the real matt and/or mike.

I'm pretty sure he just means he's glad they don't come here OFTEN. He said "have read" meaning they prolly just checked it out once in the past. :]
