The comment about the line between the eyes could just as easily make it Sci-fi greg, seeing as there's a line, or more accurately a hyphen between the 2 times the letter I appears in his name. Maybe I'm just looking into it too deeply, seeing as noid said the clues would get harder.

So we have Chris I sirhC, very possible, and we have Sci-fi Greg.

I'm going to wait though.

Eesh, it's a tie between Chris | sirhC and Sci-Fi Greg.

I'm going with Sci-Fi Greg because the 'i' in 'Sci' and 'Fi' is closer to 'eye' than the 'i' in 'Chris'.

Chris - 1
Sci-Fi Greg - 1

Also I don't remember a clue for Teff being a big eye in the last game. Only things I remember are Dacheet's toothy grin, feminine voice wolf and something to with a bloodstain or something.

These are key clues...

The first part refers to Bubs.
The second I'm not to sure about... But I think Chris.

This round I'm voting for Chris. Sorry Man, a games gotta kill what a games gotta kill...

Also, Hey... My toothy grin is WAY better than yours, Noid.

Wolf with black mark on his face = Leaf-face = Teff. I thought that cue was way too obvious and people still don;t get it. :psyduck:

Anyway, Teff, nice catch on the Chris|sirhC thing, but I have to call you out on this one:

What's so obvious?

yeah but we dismissed that as "too uncommon" didn't we?

Anyways, continue.

I was a wolf, and I still didn't get it. I thought you were making reference to the spots on The Cheat.

I go away for three days and when I come back everyones thinking I'm a wolf...

Well, linking me to the whole 'line between the eyes' clue is a valid point I admit... but as others point out sci-fi greg also fits this criteria... I can see where you're all trying to go with this but I assure you I am not a wolf.
Isn't Noid making this a little too obvious for us? If he is than he's making the game really easy for us! But I think he's writing the story a little deeper than we are reading it. I mean, humans FTW but I don't think Noid will/is make the clues that obvious.
If this is an obvious clue however than sci-fi greg is the wolf.

Another thing...
The fact that Teff has pointed out Stupendous as a wolf is very interesting... unless I've read the story wrong, I can't see anything linking him to being a wolf... can you please explain to us Teff why you think Stupendous is a wolf?

As for voting...... sci-fi is the most obvious... but I going to read the last few stories again to see if I've missed anything... so not voting yet.

Yeah that's my big speil, please take heed of it so you don't lynch a human!

True, and good point. However, can we really consider the hyphen in his name as a line? And you could bring up the fact that Noid never said weather the line was verticle or horizontal, but isn't verticle the most obvious choice?

Auugh! I still can't make up my mind. I'll sleep on it.

A line is any shape with zero-width (optimally) extending from point A to point B with a constant slope. So - _ | . /\ are all considered lines. And the whole vertical/horizontal thing is just a matter of how you look at it. If I described to you a wagon moving downhill you might think of it as moving down to the right while I might think of it down to the left.

After looking at the debates, Ima have to go with Chris|sirhC. This is tricky with this whole line shpeil, I don't know if I'll change my vote or not... *sits back and rereads*

They both have Is and a line. And the hint seems to point too the usernames...

But Chris makes a good point. Two username hints? I feel like we may be overlooking something. That, or we blame Noid. So I'm going to reread it again...

It'd be funny if there turned out to be two wolves with lines between their eyes.

Ummm, vote pending.

This time, I'm going with Chris, although it seems to be way too simple. Greg's name doesn't really fit the line thing, and I think the Chris sirhc thing seems a bit more like eyes, you know?

Actually, if you want to get technical, those are line segments. A line is infinitely long.

I'd like to preface this by saying I'm inclined to vote for Chris.

How do we know this clue has to do with the username? And why does it have to mean the letter i? What about letters that look like eyes (o, e, a, Q, D)?

What about avatars or signatures? Just throwing some ideas out there, because Chris seems too obvious.

Yikes. I can see both sides of this equally. One the one hand, the i's in Sci-fi match "eyes" better. But the | between the chrises match my instinct about what "between" means better, though a hyphen would technically also be a line (segment) that is placed in between the two things.

In conclusion, *head explodes*

EDIT: also, Jones' Girl has a good point, but it's starting to get to the point where the clue points to too many people once you add all that stuff in.

Inverse, I agree on all points (except how sci-fi fits better. Chris has evenly spaced "i"s whereas sci-fi greg doesn't.) but I'm concerned about how easy the clue seems to be. I'd hate to kill a human based on what we thought was on obvious clue.

I'm holding off on my vote yet in case someone else comes up with a very reasonable alternative to the username idea.

On avatars and signatures:

Maybe they are connected to the signitures, but the first thing I did when this clue came up was to check avatars. No match.

Vote still pending...

I looked at the signatures, and the only one that seems close is Homeschool's: Image
Notice the line between the two ducks.

And the ducks' eyes are fairly prominent... But I dunno. I think of lines as being solid black things, and that's more of an abrupt color shift.

What I meant with Sci-fi matching more with the "eyes" part was that the I's are actually pronounced the same as "eye" instead of in Chris where they're short.

Inverse, sci-fi makes more sense now. :-)

As for Homeschool's signature, what about the fact that it's a line of text? It's possible that the clue really isn't as deep as that, but it does fit (IMHO).

I guess at this point I'm still leaning towards Chris. Still not making that official though. :-) I have until Saturday after all.
