I'm not a fan of those serious comic strips. I mean, that's an oxymoron, really--it's supposed to be COMIC, as in, comical; funny; humorous.

Do you mean like Opus, Doonesbary and (dead) Boondocks? 'Cause...those are probably the best out there imo.

Yeah, but Boondocks had funny moments not common in serious strips, like a week of showing grandpappy's New Year's Resolutions.

Resolution #5: More butt whuppins (The fact that he kicked the air was hilarious)

Family Circus and, to a lesser extent, Garfield. Just like everyone else. :P

Never seen Mallard Fillmore, though...

Fake, but summarizes the comic's premise.

Cathy is for middle aged women that own salons.

I think I might have found Cathy funny once or twice, like 20 years ago. I don't remember too well, though.

Yeah, I don't really like that one either. Especially when it gets all political, then it can be dumb AND unfunny...

Most political cartoons that aren't in the editorial section fail by default.

I actually like that comic. It's not the greatest ever, but it makes me laugh more than the (overrated, in my opinion) Pearls Before Swine.

Calvin & Hobbes. It was really great, until December 31, 1995. After that, it totally sucked.

HERETIC! TRAITOR! ...wait, wasn't that when it ended? Oooh, right. Seeing as though I didn't read the funnies during 1995 or before, I can't agree with that statement. Calvin and Hobbes shall be funny. Forever.

December 31. Isn't that when Bill Amend started releasing Foxtrot Weekly instead of Daily?

You obviously don't know the significance of Dec 31, 1995 is to the history of Calvin & Hobbes, do you?

Sorry folks. But I can't lie; that comic bores me half to death.

Kit 'n' Karyle. A sad excuse for a newspapes comic.

I also never like B.C. because that Hart guy was all the times putting right-wing conservative messages at you.

The only good comics on the parpars are Dilbert and Pearls before swine.

Edit: Oh snap, it was The Boondocks...

THAT COMIC IS FRIGGIN' AWESOME. okay? Seriously, the only bad thing about it is Jim Davis sold out and got John to date Liz which would never happen.

Dennis the Mennace is 6-out-of-7 bad. The weekdays are just crap, but the Sundays are usually worth reading.

I think he sold out once he started the tirade of merchandice and stopped actually drawing them.

U.S. Acres is pure suck though, you have to admit.
