Every year around Christmas time, we get a weird letter from this family whom we haven't contacted in years.
They are all awful, but this one really takes the cake. Let me remind you, this is a Christmas Card/Letter, and it's not very at all.

View it here.

Um...

A lot of families send a letter to a lot of people, even families who they haven't talked to in years. It's just a way of informing people what's been happening, seeing that they never contact each other.

In case there is something that I missed in the letter, it all seems normal...

Yeah, my family sends us those, written "by the kid". There's only so many of those "mommy says this" and "daddy does that" letters I can take before I puke from the cheesiness (that "so many" happens to be slightly more than 0, not quite 1), yet my dad insists I read them all (so I act like I read them, then act like I forgot what they said when he starts talking about something in them).

Dad thinks that every one of those letters is so creative and/or cute, but I hate them. Form letters in general are kinda rude. It says "hey, we're so busy, we can't be bothered to do something for you". I would rather get one line, hand written in a card than 2 pages about someone I haven't heard about since last year.

yeah it just stinks of rude and cheesy. like: we care enough about you to send you a form letter, but not enough to actually talk about anything but ourselves.

To be honest though, I really didn't need to know about Mike's bowel obstruction though...

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say.
My mom always writes those stupid things. I wish she would let me approve what she writes about me before she prints them all out, though.

What does the card say? I can't see it because the internet's been running slowly since I went over the download limit, and it won't let me view large pictures.
