Lork said, "Neptune? My wife lives there!" He pulled out a heavy EMP pistol and shot the bounty ship. They won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Then he threw the gun in the trash. He hated ranged combat.

Vilmar stepped into the plaza. "Yeah, I'm back" he said, handing the Captain and Natōn their food. "Now then, can w-" he stopped suddenly when he saw Lork. "Did I just see you kill someone back there?" he asked.

"My, I remember the first time I shot a bounty ship...tis a grand memory. You're a good man, Lork, a very good man indeed." Xandeross was delighted by the fact that Lork would just destroy a ship without thinking of consequences.

Suddenely entered a robot, looking at him it was obvious he was designed for battle.

The robot was angry at this.

"Don't do it. it isn't worth your time." Xandeross calmed down the robot. "What is your name, chum?"

Vilmar stared blankly at the mindflayer. "Oh yes, you tore out his brain and ate it, but he's just fine, right? Suuure." As he walked away, he added "Nice mind trick, by the way. Remo was surprised. The collision-avoidance software should have allowed him to miss the hoverboarder. Must be a glitch. It did stop the hovercab, though. He got out and took a look at the hoverboarder who was playing dead. "Can you get up? I'll give you a lift to the medicenter."

"So are you gonna tell me who's chasing you James, or do I get to find out the hard way?" Remo winked as he said this. Remo cyberneticly commanded the navicomputer to resume course to the spaceport, and the Hovercab responded. Then, the hovercab's radar systems showed Remo a ground vehicle aproaching at unsafe speeds. A jet-black Americar Highwayman with chrome trim and men with guns riding on the sideboards was roaring down the street behind Remo's taxi. One of the gunmen let loose a burst from his machine gun, but he missed by a mile.
"Friends of yours?" quiped Remo grimly.

"Right. STREETFIGHT!!" Yelled Lork, and charged into the fray. he swung a kick to a gangster, then knocked the Taxi driver out. He looked in his mind. He was one of the good guys. He woke him up, then showed him to Xandeross."what about him?"

"Are you okay?" Xandeross asked Remo. "Lork, go get the other one that was with him."

(Robot Union? That disbanded a little while ago, due to the interplanatery war between Rilgar and Neptune. Back in it's time it enforced robotic rights and such, but Rilgar did not listen. Nowadays people tend to think of the RU as "guidlines", and not rules.)

Remo awoke with a shock. He looked about, but couldn't see what had knocked him out. His head hurt, but his cyberware wasn't reporting a malfunction. He gunned the hovercab to maximum speed.

OOC: Unsafe speeds. That means NOT going slow. Besides, kicking through a window would hurt, wouldn't it? And I assume they'd have bulletproof glass or something....either way, how did you catch up with a car going that fast?
