I know Towel Day is supposed to be Hitchhikers' related but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use Towelie.

Happy Towel Day folks. I've already used my towel to confuse and infuriate my dog. Now I need to find someone to snap.

Oh, why can't I use my towel for good instead of evil?

I was the only person in school with a towel. I was happy. It was awesome. I am wearing the towel as a cape right now.

I forgot my towel, so I called Dad up at lunchtime and told him to deliver it. He did so.

Our Design sub was celebrating Towel Day as well! That was cool...

In case nobody has referred to this I would say it's muy bien. I know spanish, Como estas.

Man, I've had this towel do nothing else but sit on my shoulder for about three or four hours.......... Sometimes it sucks to get out of school a week before everyone else.

(Not really. :P )

Whoa. Same here. And I thought of useing it as a cape and I didn't even read through this topic. So, Here you go. If I do say, I look rather dashing in a towel cape.

...And now for the rejected towel. The ugliest towel ever. It has a retarded hippo that says "GRUNT!" on it. I would have used it, but I can't handle pink capes.

...Yeah, I have blue hair now

Oh, man, was my Towel Day amazing. I think I caused an uproar during first period, more than a few people think I'm insane, but even more think I'm random, and my math teacher called me weird (but she also called me a nerd when I wore my pi earrings for the first time, so it's cool.)!

What was the most awesome was probably when I got to my lunch table and a friend of mine had a towel, too... even though I hadn't mentioned Towel Day at all! He's awesome, and I love him. But this isn't the place for that.

And when I got out of school today, it was raining. Who was nice and dry under her towel? That's right... it was me. Yeah.

Happy Towel Day to all, and you're welcome.

edit: I want blue hair!! I mean, here's me practically bursting with joy: Image

I just got a small hand towel and tied it around my wrist. Much more convenient than a cape, though less handy on Traal.

Demyx > Towelie

Demyx- Number 09 in Organization XIII, he controls the element of water. He is quite the Benjamin P. Gitaroo! (He carries a guitar and uses it as a weapon). To celebrate Towel Day, I suggest everyone "Dance, water, dance!"

And what, pray tell, does dancing, or Demyx, have to do with Towel Day?

Towelie=South Park.

towel=Hitchhiker.

READ, Clan!

Yeah, me too. It was so awesome....yet my street cred went Waaaaaay down the drain. Even my friend who's also a hitchhiker fan (whom I had told about Towel Day before) forgot, so I looked like an idiot, or rather, a looney who should be locked up. Here is an actual anecdote from a conversation between me and an idiot:
Idiot:Why are you wearing a towel? You know, you think you're cool, but you're not.
Me:Um, actually, its Towel Day, and almost everyone at the school hates you so--
Idiot:Dude, you made up Towel Day, you loser. Trying to be cool by wearing a towel is not working.
Me:Go @#$% yourself.

I plan to snipe him out, as well as every other idiot in the universe.

Yeah, I wore mine as a kind of Arabian headress thing. I was asked to take my towel outside in SOSE.

JD: *Puts towel headress on*
MRS STOKES: JD, take that off...
JD: But it's towel day.
MRS STOKES: IT DISRUPTS LEARNING! *rant*
JD: Okay... *begins folding up towel*
MRS STOKES: Don't you fold it up...
JD: Miss, I'm just folding up my towel...
MRS STOKES: *evil stare...*

That teacher is a nut, just so you know...

Ah, my towel kept me warm and it worked pretty well as a neck support/pillow thingy in uncomfortable situations (e. g. lying in a bed while watching TV). (Hey, let's list more nifty uses for towels!)

Also, I had a day off from work so I didn't go out. Lame.

Me too. Two other guys were wearing theirs, and I was like CRAP! Well, I said something worse than that, but I'll wear one today. :)

USES FOR TOWELS:

Placemat/Napkin
Blanket
Makeshift weapon, if necessary
An item used to confuse people who don't know why you're carrying a towel around
Something to rhyme with "bowel", if really necessary
One of those things that those guys use for bullfighting
A cape
Clothing, if ABSOLUTELY necessary
And of course, an implement for drying off. And basking in the sun.
