The band that tried to revive American roots music with the help of synthesizers and old '50s samples. They were such a one-hit wonder that they even named their band after their hit single (or the other way around), "Baby Maybe." The lyrics were bad, like, "you're my baby and I don't mean maybe."

Switch Foot Krutch...lame, I know.

Switch Foot Krutch originated in Germany in the mid nineties. A mix of techno/punk, it became popular with the gen X, slacker groups.

The Kucinich Duo.

A japanese DJ alliance that reliesed two techno albums that made it big...in Japan. Only one song leeked out to the U.S. and European countries, and it didn't get big. They still exist as far as we know.

To the Limit was a band whose lead singer was named fhqwhgadshgnsdhjsdbkhsdabkfabkveybvf, but she never had any fans - mostly because of her long freakin' name, which she included in every song at least 15 times. I mean, in the time it took someone to listen to a song by To the Limit, they could have done all kinds of cool stuff. Like, paint a picture... of a guy... with a big knife...

The Painters were huge on the college/indie scene in the mid to late 90s. They're still out there, with their Beatles-ish pop rock.

Octuplet Down was a modern-era rock band. They were all about the unorthodox music - they did things like sliding their fingers on the strings for cool sounds, and often put octuplets in compound meters. (That means 8 notes in the space of 3... weird stuff!) Their music was usually 12-tone music, meaning there was no key and no discernable melody. They included a lot of random electronic noises, and also liked to play songs with only one word, or songs that were only 3 seconds long.

They once recorded a song by placing a tape recorder near two angry cats who were stuck in a cage, and adding guitars underneath. They were outageously popular, and no one knows why.

They started to play their first song "Wiegraf is a good guy" but were tragically killed by the infamous chocolate syrup monster.

What happened when Black Eyed Peas and Puffy AmiYumi decided to form a band. The combination of cute (but badly attempted) 80's rock, and sleazy, obnoxious rappers was just too much, but they made a comeback with Daft Punk dressed as peas playing techno backing instrumentals at their concerts. Eminem ended up dissing them, what's new? If he were the only person alive, he'd diss himself.

Kinda like the Beastie Boys, except they're four 12-year-old kids wearing hoodies.

Four artists who had the experience of having staples in their fingers, whether by an accident, or on purpose. They now are obsessed with stapling themselves, and they love to sing about the experience of stapling themselves, or just staples! These artists are no more than 16 year olds.

A girl, named Carol had stapled herself when she was stapling a piece of her report on Canadian Resources. Curiosly, Carol looked at her finger without feeling the pain. She felt it extremely glorious, so she continued doing it. She is currently 13 years old.

Two twin boys named Elvis and Cole Thompson, had ridiculosly stapled themselves, after taking a dare in grade four, by their worst enemies, Killer, DJ, Big Foot, and Fist. They enjoyed doing it, and their peers love them for it. They are currently 16 years old.

A little boy had walked across the street, wondering how he was placed there, had almost got hit by a car. The little boy was an orphan, who had escaped from the orphanage, so he could have a better life. It was then that the car stopped, and the woman sitting in the car took him in. She was his actual mother, and she regonized him. So, they had a family reunion. But during the celebration, a staple company had crashed into the building by accident. The little boy had not escaped from the fall, and the truck had caused hundreds of staples to colapse on the people. Many people managed to escape, but the little boy had the most serious injury. He went to the hospital and came out 1 month later. During that period of time, he went and told his mother that he had loved the staples more than anything, so he went and left her to find a job. There, he met the twins, Cole and Elvis, and he went to sing with them. As they grew... pretty famous in the local part of the town, Carol had found them and began to sing with them!

A cover band. The kicker? They only cover songs from Monty Python. It's actually really funny stuff. You haven't lived until you've heard "The Lumberjack Song" rendered as a soul ballad.

One of those half-indie 1-bit game console/synthpop groups that nobody's heard of.

A bad cover band with a horrible keyboardest, a god-awful guitar player, state-of-the-suck drummer, crap-for-crap bassist, and William Hung-class vocalist. They did a cover of The Final Countdown by Europe, and it probably sounded like this:

Strange children's band from Sweden. The lead singer looks more like someone you'd find lurking in a back alley than singing for children.

Underground pop...we all know underground pop never makes sense. They just babel about Virginia and blueberry syrup through songs with names like "Happy in the Mist," "Cottage Tales," "Kiss an Apricot," and "Loves Good."

A screamo reggae band. Their frontman H.S.R. doesn't like metal, so he left to do boring soft albums, and then the rest of Crap for Brains had to do boring instrumental albums because they couldn't get a good vocalist. Then they came back and got controversial.

U12: Twelve people who wear suits that are made of mirrors. When someone watches them, they see 12 reflections of themselves, so their motto is "U12: 12 of U!" They play pop.

Some tribute band. They only get hits on iTunes because they sing about children's shows.

Teh F.l.o.p. was a band for only a couple of days. They ended up being a total flop. Ironic, isn't it?

Their name sums it up. We all know that any band with the word "alternative" in their style name has to have ridiculously long titles for everything. These guys do songs with names like "I Rock So Hard I'm Gonna Make The Glass Totally Shard (I'm A Card)," "I Gots An Uncle Named Albert Who Say You Ain't Got Jack," "I Think That TV Rocks and I Like It More Than Clean Socks," and "The Ground Tastes Like A Mound."

A band whose members are all terrified that one day, computers are going to grow too smart and attempt to take over the world. They sing all sorts of exigent, end-of-the-world songs ment to frighten people into throwing out their computers. Unfortunately, all it does is make people mistake them for another emo band.

Ironically, they still use electric guitars.

Kudja was an African vocals and drums ensemble. They didn't really know any African languages though, as they were just rappers who never made it big, so they just made stuff up and sang it. They were always horrbly out of tune, but most people couldn't tell, mostly because most people never listened past the percussion-only introductions. They sang such songs as "Kua kua jogo lii," "Luka laka loka," and "This song isn't really African (Like All of the Others)." They failed at that, too.

Looner Eklipse is a techno punk band that plays nothing but Pink Floyd covers. "See you on the dark side of the moon!"

One of those heavy Southern rock hypermelodic metal bands known for their hits "You Got at My Tumbleweed Here But Ain't Gonna Get at My Cowgirl," "Dreamworld Express," "You Fried Them Chickerns," "Kollard Greens," and "Dr. Pepper's Love Life." I'm feeling weeeird right now...

A rip off of the Blue Man Group. They wear all green, and simple doubles for both their music and their minds. They play things like "Hot Cross Buns," "Mary Had a Little Lamb," and "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." Except with guitars and laser beams. The laser beams were kind of cool, at least.

Purumpkus is a New-Wave Accordian Oopah band. There song "The Chicken Doens't Want to Dance" Hit the charts hard, and didn't stick. They gathered a cult following. The had a dedictaed fanbase of all the member's mothers. Shortly after there album went semi-pewter, their lead singer Untgard Dudenschnitzel left the group to pursue and acting carreer. He is now starring in the upcoming Rambo film as corpse #45.
