A Shoggoth is someone who is apparently brainless.

Can you guys just stay on topic and ignore him?

Let's steer this topic back on course, toastpaint.

The only place I have seen Nazis is on TV. I have never ran in to one, and that is something I would like to avoid.

We had some kids at my high school that said they were Nazis. They had swastika stickers on their stuff and things like that, but they didn't know anything about true nazism, nor did they know anything about the history of Nazis...
Funny stuff.

One time, at a Quick Recall tourney at some other school, one of my friends found a charicature of a Nazi. His name was Klause. It was pretty hilarious.

Umm... as to the matter at hand.

Yes, there are still Nazis. There's no real reason for this to even be a Poll, it's a fact that neo-Nazis exist, despite the fact that they're mostly not in Germany.

Like nearly everyone hear stated, yes, Nazi's still exist. There are some vet's of WW2 from Germany that still consider themselves Nazi's, though they are usually in hiding. There are also the 'New Generation' Nazi's as well, such as the Neo-Nazi's.

You know, if Seethroo was here, he'd totally make a Hellsign reference right now. I miss him.

The closest I hope I get to a Nazi is in an online game of some sort. If only I could report people for making a swastika out of fire.

Why report them for that?

A swastika is actually a symbol of "eastern" origin, I think. Wasn't it originally supposed to mean something like peace and well being or something like that?

Heck yes, there are definately still Nazis and Hitler supporters out there.

I mean, they even have their own little MKA type twin sister singing duo thing out there.

a symbol of sanskrit origin, holy in hinduism and buddhism, but most of us only have exposure to it as a nazi decoration. and yeah, i know the types. the kind of kids who play online games and when you kill them they hurl all sorts of wonderful racial epithets. got to love the anonymity of the internet for disturbed children venting their confused racism.

I haven't heard many racial slurs in online gaming in a while.. Most of the time it's "you're cheating" or various slander regarding one's sexual orientation.
Either way, you just got to ignore it. The kid probably got beat up at school or something and is just venting. Probably better that they do it in HALO than in their school.

I'm going to tell a story that happen to me & my friends that happen a year ago...
It was after a Youth Group that I normally go to with my Friends. We stayed outside the church for a while, foolin' around (go snowball fights! ). Before we left, some guy came up to us, who was bald.
He told us that he saw us playing in front of the church & also exiting the building. Then he went on saying that the church was run by 'dirty rich Jews' (with was 100% crap 'cause the church was run by Christians) and they had a 'hidden agenda'. After a couple of minutes of him talking, he invited us to hang out with his 'friends', who were at a bar which was a mile away. It was a-boot this time went I notice that the Nazi symbol was on his jacket, both forearms & head. This really scared the crap of me.
And so, me & my friends told him no, saying that we were under 18 & we had to go (the go part was true, but at least half of us were over 18). So we said out good-byes, and left.
When we got back to our friends house (we were all staying for the night), we talked about him & came up that he was a skinhead, a person who doesn't like anyone unless they're a white prosadent (AKA: Neo Nazi). Plus, one of of guys ameted that he was Jewish... Scary, isn't it?

In other words, Neo-Nazi & Skinheads are around, so be careful!

Of course there are those who believe in Nazi political ideals.

But something I don't think anyone has mentioned.... there are still members of Hitler's Nazi party alive today. S.S. guards, prison camp guards, leadership, etc. They're all like 80 years old, but they're around.

Yes, it was. I think it's pretty sad that people perverted a symbol with such a lovely meaning into a symbol of hatred.

In any case, yes, there are still Nazis, or at least neo-Nazis.

I meet these people online allllll the time, most of them do that type of stuff because they are craving for attention, most have no talent nor creativity so they try to act all "big" and "tough" on the internet, acting like their someone by offending people, when really their just some pathetic idiot (as I said) craving for attention.
Those people really get a life.
As for the nazi thing, of course they are still alive!

That organization is Germany's intelligence agency.

As other people have mentioned, there are a few real NAZIs about, and an endless supply of modern racists. Very few though. Being a "Gestapo officer," et cetera does not mean membership in the NAZI party. Therefore people who were members are quite few and far between to day.

Yes, Wikipedia knows.

It really makes me sick about the swastika. You ask most people what it means, and they will say "Nazi's", even though it was originally a symbol for peace.

The swastika is a sign of peace of course, because Hitler was trying to make the world a better place. He failed.
As for the Nazis, of course they exist! It's like terrorism! It will always exist! Unless the Nazis all die of some sort of...Nazimonia.

Yeah, that was, and is, the sect down here always meet in the woods just outside of town , but they never really come into town or anything. usually, were like a mile away from theyre campsite's when were playing Paintball, so occasionally we take a pot shot at them. of course, we all suck, so none of them ever hit, nor came within 100 feet of them, and that only happend once.

There are people who think having a shaved head makes you look like a Nazi.
That's my guess.

Of course, I find that funny because the Nazis from way back when, didn't actually have shaved heads.

Some neo-Nazi groups make a point of actually wearing Nazi Germany uniforms. At least, that's what I've seen in pictures of neo-Nazi demonstrations.

As far as I know neo-Nazis also do things like tatoo swastikas on themselves. Kinda like gang members, just ... Naziness. (Does anyone else find it funny that Naziness and Nausea sound somewhat similar? :D )

I always find it funny that some of them wear the "Brown Shirts", but have American flags.

Umm.. That's like wearing a Duke shirt and waving a Kentucky flag... It just doesn't make sense.

I've often wanted to go up to some skinheads with a history book and say "umm, not sure if you got the memo or not, but you guys lost" :p

Bwahahaha!

However, waving a Kentucky flag always makes sense. Always. Go Kentucky!

Err... painted toast.
