there are no benches in Innsmouth. it is ilegal to sit down when you are outside in the Town square due to the energy that the Esoteric order of Dagon Town hall gets from the people who have the Innsmouth Look.

In the 100 years before whatever it is the year that we are playing in, Obed Marsh, the Founder of the Esoteric Order of Dagon, Had his children with the Deep One Y'nag Thnsal. the children, after 25 years on the surface, had aquired the Innsmouth Look. they grew their Webbed hands and feet, their eyes began to blink once every hour. their arms and legs began to crimp. by then, there were more and more people who were going through this, all who were of the order of dagon. with their crimping joints, they could not sit down without several adjustments to their positions, wich took more time to actually do. so in time, when everyone aqquired the innsmouth Look, it was passed to remove the benches in town square. anything in here you wanna research on?

The Economy of Innsmouth? let see... innsmouth is a poor town, many houses are empty and none are being sold to new families. the origional source of the Economies funds were that of the port. but the port has since grown old and all commercial class ships have ceased from ariveing. all that exhists in the port are the local fishermen, such as old Zadok Allen, but you guys wont get to talk to him later. the newest source of comemrce which is the only thing keeping the town alive by a thread is the Factory that Melts down the gold artifacts that allways seem to turn up around town, like some gold Tiaras, and things of the like. What now, genious?

fine then, no Liqour. you take the Handle over to the trapdoor. the trap door has no handle(duh) and only a hole in it thats large enough for the one you found. the guard turns away from your friends and heads back onto his rounds. he's coming, he'll be in the room soon, now what?

okay, trap door is open, there is a ladder that goes down onto a platform. the door you blocked is being pounded on by the guard. what now?

I take the handle with me, go down the ladder, and close the door behind me. Is there any light down here?

yes. As your half way down the ladder, it breaks and you fall down, through the platform and onto the cold hard ground. you suffer d4 points of dammage. the guard re-opens the trapdoor and looks down onto you.

Guard: You shouldnt have come here, Outsider, now your going to die down there, and your friends are going to jail.

he closes the trapdoor and walks out.
