The tired tribes emerged from the challenge arena exhausted. Both Jetrel and Morlock had scrambled to get together as many words as they could before their time ran out. Unfortunately, Morlock had lost, and was to face Tribal Council that night. Douglas told both tribes to head back to their camps for now.
Back at the Jetrel camp, the members strated to gather food supplies for the remainder of their time on this mysterious island. Ju Ju and Kiss offered to go into the palm tree forest to scrounge up any edible roots.
"So..." Ju Ju said to Kiss as he rummaged through the foliage. "Hwo do you think the challenge went?"
"Well, we won, didn't we?"
"Yeah, but it was tricky. They gave us a real run for our money."
"True. I think that if everyone on their team had been working at full capacity, they might've won," Kiss said.
"Hmmm. They've got a pretty strong tribe. Especially Teff... he got more words than the two of us combined. I get the feeling he's gonna be a huge competitor."
~~~~~~~~
Over at the Morlock tribe, the mood was grim.
Teff threw a stick into the fire. "I figured this would happen. We need everyone at their best if we want to beat Jetrel!"
"I've gotta apologize, guys..." Ace said. "I kinda suck at these logic puzzle things."
"Well, you tried, anyway."
Hi Guys sat silently on a log, stoking the fire.
~~~~~~
Darkness fell, and Morlock grabbed their torches and walked single file over to a clearing in the middle of the island.
Douglas was there, and he motioned for everyone to take a seat on two rows of stumps.
"Hello, Morlock... welcome to Tribal Council. A place you don't want to visit often. Here's how it works: you vote for the person you want off the island.Each of you has a torch with your name etched onto it. If you are voted out, your torch will be snuffed out, and you will have a chance to say some final words. You must then leave immediately, and the game is over for you. Now, let's get down to some questions."
Douglas looked at Bugkiss. "Bugkiss, do you feel vulnerable tonight?"
Bugkiss shifted in his seat. "Vulnerable? Mildly. I wasn't the most help with that challenge, but I did what I could."
"Ace, how much did you contribute to your tribe?"
"Agh..." Ace ran his hand back through his hair. "I only contributed three words. I've seen this kind of logic problem before, and I really suck at it." He looked around at his tribe. "Don't worry, guys: next time will be better!"
"Exhibit A, who did the most work on this challenge?"
Exhibit A looked up. "Well, I think Teff did the most work out of everyone."
"Jonn-E, why do you think you guys lost this challenge?"
Jonn-E arched an eyebrow. "One reason: Jetrel was quick to put up their words, and I was the only person in Morlock who told the Morlocks to post. I shouldn't get voted out, because I did at least ten words at a time."
"Ian, who did the least work on this challenge?"
Ian spoke quietly. "Hi Guys contributed nothing."
"Teff, do you know of any alliances around camp?"
Teff smiled. "Yeah, I know of one. I'm allied with No Toppings, Ace, and Ian right now."
"Hi Guys, who do you think isn't pulling their own weight?"
Sighing,, Hi Guys looked up with a resigned look on his face. "Ummm... me."
"No Toppings, what was your experience like in this challenge?"
"Well, I got kind of scared, because I suck at spelling..." NT replied.
Douglas stood up. "Okay, Morlock tribe, it is now ime to vote. Proceed to the left and into the forest. There, you will find an urn. Write your vote down, and put it into the urn.
One by one, the Morlock tribe walked off into the forest. After they had all gone, Douglas went to retrieve the urn.
"I'll tally the votes." He proceeded to remove one scrap of paper at a time.
HI GUYS
Sorry, man, but you need to go. You didn't do too much for the team at all.
HI GUYS
Only 5 words in the challenge...
HI GUYS
You contributed nothing.
BUGKISS
No statement
HI GUYS
You did less than me.
HI GUYS
You contributed the same as me, but one of us has to go.
JONN-E
I don't think you contributed very many words.
HI GUYS
You didn't do a thing.
Douglas had a grim look on his face. "The first person voted out of Survivor: Forum Edition is Hi Guys. Hi Guys, grab your torch."
Hi Guys stood up slowly and sighed. He walked over and stood in front of Douglas.
"Hi Guys... the tribe has spoken. Goodbye."
Hi Guys, you now have the opportunity to post your final words to your tribemates. If I don't get anything by tomorrow at 11, I'll post the next immunity challenge, and you can PM me your final words. They'll be put up on Page 1.
