What do you mean?

Oh! OHHH! I see. No. The little pink ovals aren't part of his ears. It's an anime stylistic device. It's supposed to convey like, blushing or innocence or something. I use it whenever I draw someone with a white complexion. (Namely Strong Sad and Homestar.) I guess you'd be able to see it better if it was a larger picture.

What I meant was, why do they have ears? I love manga/anime, but ears don't really fit onto some of the characters.

Well, ears happen to be part of my style. It's just something that takes a bit of getting used to. ^_^;
