For, me, it's more of a kids show, yes. Well, meant for all ages, which includes younger children. In my family, we were allowed to watch shows like The Simpsons, and Friends, etc... which has the occasional swear word, such as "hell" or (the other word for donkey). And even then, those shows are considered to be PG-13. Now, for this sight, it has no swears what so ever. So, I think it is suitible for children about 4 and up. Sure, they may not get the refrences, but the humor on that site isn't just all about the refrences. That's just what attracts the older bunch.

Kids' shows such as Animaniacs often contain subtle sex references. I remember one episode in which the Warners met Beethoven and he said that he is a pianist (which sounds an awful lot like another word.) Yakko then washed his mouth out.

No, not really. Too mature for that, which sounds really weird. I'll give you a few reasons: Crap, freakin', Hell, eternal damnation. There's also a considerable amount of violence on the site, if you think about it. Strong Bad also says a lot about women, as well.

I think H*R is intended for 13 & up. The word crap might be a little bad for young children. Also, They use refrences that children might not undersatnd (for example: I don't think a 4 year old knows who Kurt Cobain is [homestar runner dressed up as him in the first halloween episode]. Also, I don't think that kid's know the band Led Zepplin [Strong Bad says this when he tries to poke Pom-Pom with a pin].

It seems to me that H*R is more intended for college age people, especially with the quasi-risque things that have been happening lately.

I think Strong Bad put it best when he said whatever he did in the email "for kids."

About the littlest, tiniest babies. You know.

No way man. Do you think that a website w/ drug references would make a good kids show? They could put it on Adult Swim, though.

Yeah. I mean, most of the references are ones that people my age would get, not people ten years younger would get. Though I don't really see it risque, it's definately not meant forseven year olds, but it's safer to watch for a 7 year old than most everything else on the web.

EDIT: y'know I'm thinking the moral panic types on this board may not have remembered what I just mentioned, so I'm going to take it out
