Well, isn't Tenderfoot an actual Boy Scout Rank?

Seems like it would be that, and not a direct Homestar reference.

Well, it is strange that he said it to an elephant. But I wouldn't know because I didn't see it.

yeah, a tenderfoot is a Cub Scout who hasn't been initiated yet.

ACK! I noticed that and I was going to put it up here. Didn't know about the Boy Scout thing, but I still think it's a homestar reference.

Two words: YOU'RE WRONG. You're acting like the people who think that every reference to death in a Beatles song is "proof" that Paul is dead (which he isn't, by the way).

Sorry if I came across a bit mean. I'm not like that. Really, I'm not.

If you finish writing a post and decide you need to apologize for coming across a bit mean, it's a good indication that you should re-write the post, or not post at all.

Okay, okay. *backs off* I'm just saying that, while highly unlikely, I wish it was a Homestar reference. Btw, I spent probably 6 months obsessed with finding all those Paul is dead refs. For some strange reason I thought it was fun...

Actually, a tenderfoot is the first rank a boy scout can achieve. Kids right out of cub scouts are only "Boy Scouts," but they have to tie some knots, know the phrases, very basic first aid, etc... to achieve the Tenderfoot rank. (I was recently an assistant scoutmaster...)

Cartoon Network has nothing to do with it. The creators of "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends" obvioulsy like Hometar Runner, but that doesn't mean the creators of "Camp Lazlo" do.

Unless they're created by the same people. Then I'm wrong.

I dont think they were made by the same people. The art and humor styles are different.

Second tip of the topic!

If all you have left is an argument completly irrelevant to the topic, and you are NOT in Religion and Politics, and the topic is not worth reviving, it's a good time to let the topic die.

Maybe in the States it is. We've got a different system up here.
