It's a fidget, I guess. I have ADHD, so I tend to fidget a lot and get all restless. So it bugs me when my mouth is unoccupied, and I, like, start chewing my erasers or little bits of plastic or the inside of my cheeks (lightly, of course). I'm kind of addicted to sugarfree minty gum. ^^

TOTPD!

I like to chew on pen caps and the little plastic rings from soda and water bottles when my mouth has absolutely nothing to do. No never borrow a pen from me, unless you really, REALLY need one. :P

My favorite gum ever has to be berry-flavored Trident. Oh my goodness, SO good.

Oh golly. Sooooo true. Trident pwns. I also like the blocks of Bubblelicious or BubbleYum or HubbaBubba or whatever, those things are equally good.

It's weird...everyone in this thread seems to like minty gum better...I don't like the stuff much. It's fruity gum and mints for me. Also...this thread makes me want to go get some gum *gets some gum*.

I do that too! I chew everything. (Well, almost.) This includes: Cups, napkins, paper, pen caps, some pencils, fingernails, plastic, rubber, teeth brushers, and other such things.

I can't chew on things made of paper; I've never been a paper eater. I need what I'm chewing on to have some real thickness to it, so I don't worry about shredding my precious chew toy. :P

Usually I chew gum for the taste and because it seems to help me concentrate, making it useful for tough homework. Unfortunately, we don't usually have gum at home. But when we do, I'm sorta addicted to the stuff.

It's kind of hard for me to make an official vote in this poll, seeing as I chew gum for several reasons. I chew gum because it tastes good, I chew it to make my breath smell minty-fresh, I chew it to give my mouth something to do, I chew it to blow bubbles, I chew it to relive stress, and I chew it to break habits! So there ya go! Gum is a very malleable food, seeing as it can serve many purposes. It can even hold the occasionaly broken object together!

Then chose the relives stress one, cause I'm all alone... (Insert >.> emotion here.)
