That was a Polish guy, not a Mexican guy. You can tell from SB E-mail other Days that its Polish.

I was very glad to see a new answering machine. * :mrgreen: * Even though I don't care much for Marzipan, I really like the machine messages. This wasn't the best one, but it still made me laugh a couple of times. :)

Message 2. To be honest there is a part that I'm not sure about, after he says "If you are ready to leave" I think he says "Please come over," before he says "I will be at home."

I'd be worse at transcribing it, since I actually speak Czech and last studied Polish about four years ago, but I'll give it a shot:
"Cześć Marzipan, to jest Łukasz! Czy masz ochoti nalodzit, prosze zadbunić domie. Będę na domu. Jak zyvkle."

So, after giving it some more thought...
"Hi Marzipan, it's/this is Łukasz! If you are ready to leave, please come over. I will be at home. So, see you soon."

I don't know what the Easter Egg language is, maybe Hungarian or Albanian?

No problem.

I wish I knew what the other language was, but another problem is that the voice is so distorted it'd be hard to tell unless a native speaker of (whatever it is) was around...

Which translates into:
"Hi, Marzipan! This is Łukasz speaking. Would you care for some ice-cream? Please phone me. I'll be home, as usual".

Or maybe the second recorded message is regarded as the easter egg?

After the last message, you can click on the part of the answering machine where you put the tape (you know, that, shiny black square)

As for the easter egg - not any Slavonic language for sure.

I think that this is just plain gibberish. The word "Soislav" or something like that repeated three times, one "Marzipan", one "aspirino" and one clear example of a mumble - surely not a word.

Though, it does sound A LOT like Hungarian (sorry to all you Magyars out there :-) )

Hungary is the only country in east Europe which doesn't speak a Slavonic language (such as Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Byelorussian, Russian etc. ) - it is part of a family of languages called finno-ugrian languages. The only two languages in the group are Hungarian and Finnish, so maybe someone from Finland could find some sense in that easter egg. :-)

Stejar - if you ask me, it's quite good. If I was to write something in Czech........it would be a massacre :-).

I didn't know that anyone abroad decided to teach Polish. If I were to learn Polish not as my native language, I would give up after a year :-). Far to difficult and complex. :-)

Guys, go to the egg. Near the end, it sounds like he says Your aspirin (the equivilent in whatever language) It took me a while going back and forth between the email and the machine, but I think thats it.
