Okay, so...Marshmallow's Last Stand and A Jumping Jack Contest were removed from the site for personal reasons, right? Well, I just thought of something.

What if it has something to do with the Announcer? The only times he's actually appeared are in these 'toons and the original book. Since then, he has not been seen, but we have still heard his voice in places such as "sibbie" and "suntan" (and Tucksworth sounds very similar). In the FAQ, TBC have said that if all goes well, the two 'toons will return. Maybe TBC were trying to hide the Announcer for some reason?

And then? lady...ing comes out, with the announcer finally appearing again! Hurrah. Nobody thinks anything of it, but then we also get a 'toons DVD! If MLS and JJC are on it, I think TBC are trying to tell us that the problem's over, and MLS, JJC and the Announcer can happily appear again.

Yes, I know this all just seems like mad speculation and stabbing in the dark, but I'm just saying what I think. Oh, you'll say I'm crazy, BUT I'M NOT CRAZY! I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT'S NOT CRAZY! JIBNE- *hit on the head by Super Sam*

And here I thought that it was because, continuity-wise, those two toons didn't fit in at all with the rest.

I don't see what's wrong with The Announcer. He was also in the original book, but that's still on the site. (It's in the museum, but on the site nonetheless.) I think maybe The Bee Cees just needed to save some space, so they had to get rid of some toons.

Yeah. I don't think the announcer had anything to do with it. Sorry Mr. Smith Z.

Yeah, I thoguth of that a few months ago, but it didn't make sense for one reason: Ballad of The Sneak. Thpough I've heard that was taken down for a little while...

Isn't the announcer just Matt. Why would that have anything to do with anything? I think they took 'em down 'cause they're old and they would rather show some of the other stuff... or perhaps a very personal reason that we can't possibly know and they would rather not discuss.

I'm not really buying into the continuity issue as to why MLS and JJC aren't on the site - there are plenty of older toons that are quite far removed from the way H*R world is now, and they wouldn't reference MLS so blatantly in lady...ing if that were the actual problem. And now this theory about The Announcer seems even more of a reach. What's the big difference between hearing him and actually seeing him on screen? There is none. There's gotta be some more complicated personal thing behind this....

I get seriously annoyed whenever someone says MLS and JJC are gone because they're just old. It's obviously not true. Why would the FAQ say that they'll be back some day if that's the reason?

Besides, they have a museum for all their old, crappy stuff. if nothing else, they'd go there. Duh.

Maybe TBC took them off the site because there's just something about them that they don't like, or something that annoys them. I'm not sure what it could be, because I see nothing wrong with either of them.

Or maybe they took them off just to make everyone wonder why and to make our lives more difficult. :p

Marshmallow's Last Stand may be off the site because of Chad Eikhoff. I'm just grabbing in the dark, though. And of course, we could just take TBC's word for it and assume it's off the site because "the characters are completely different. Saying and doing things they'd never do now."

No clue why A Jumping Jack Contest is off the site, though, as I don't think TBC would have any problems with Craig Zobel. Maybe it's for the same reason they gave for MLS.

Maybe the Chad guy also co-wrote AJJC and we just don't know that? Also, AJJC is based on the original book, maybe it has something to do with that?

Maybe they're making special edition DVDs out of them? Like The KOT DVD? But why would it take them that long? Who knows? Not me, that's for sure.

They said in an interveiw somewhere that that's what people THINK the reson for them dissappearing is, but it isn't. They say, however, that if and when they do put them back on the site, they may be in DVD edition.

Perhaps the storylines closely resembled something else out there and TBC got into legal trouble. I highly doubt it, but if we are going to throw out crazy theories... why not.

Freakin' Soupstock Cameo....

Or may MLS have somethinhg to do with that crappy act of violence? It may break continuity. Another reason could be people in the crowd there, or something.'

Umm, if they were maknig a DVD like the yello dello out of them, they WOULD keep the originals on the site 'til they're done. That can't be it.

It's not continuity or anything like that. If that was they case, they'd be in the museum.

Whatever the problem is, TBC apparently don't think it's going to be a pernanent problem because they say in the FAQ that they'll be up again someday.

And that interview that has them say they took them off because they were old-fashioned is a very old interview. Like, from '01 or '02. Probably before the Museum was set up.

Nah, that can't be it. When I first found the site, MLS was in the Museum and AJJC was on the toons page.

I'm not sure what exact time this was, but the toon page was the chinese food one, the games page was a stack of board games, and one of the "what's new" things was the Pom Pom shirt. I'm not sure what the newest email at the time was, because I didn't realise they existed until several months after. When I finally did notice them, the newest one was lures & jigs.

I really don't know why the toons were taken off the site. I know that AJJC lasted until at least '02, because it was one of the first things my friend saw, and I was in 8th grade at the time.

I think they should remake them, along with the Reddest Radish, as DVD's and make a new DVD button on the remote in the toons page. Or maybe they could remake the page a bit and add an actual DVD player that you can click to open them. This idea may not even be too far off from the truth. TBC seem to be making an unusually large amount of new toons lately, almost as if they want to fill up the Big Toons page for when KoT, YD, and RR move. Or maybe they just want to take a hiatus from SBemails. Who knows, but I like my idea.

I don't think so, because they're still toons. They may make a whole new toons page, and in there somehow they'll make mini sections where the dvds can be.

I think they took JJC off 'cuz it made a pee reference. I don't know why they took the other one off, though. Maybe because it wasn't funny. :poop: :poop:

They're dad really wanted them to put MLS back up, so they did, but, as we all obviosuly know, it's down again.
