So...I play a game online. And, my Dad installed a new filter on the computer. After he did that, the game that I played was not allowed access to the internet. I immediately thought it was the new filter. So, I disabled the filter temporarily and then tried it. Still nothing. Other programs that required internet access also did not work. None of the internet browsers were blocked though. I've tried many different things, like uninstalling and reinstalling, buying a new copy of the game (cheap though), disabling my firewall and filter, etc.
So my cousin has been trying to help me. When I informed him that other programs were not allowed access to the internet also, he immediately said it sounded like a fun router/filter/firewall problem; he didn't know how to fix it though. So...I looked at my router, and it's a "Belkin" filter. I have no idea what to do now, or how to fix this problem. Help?
