Just got the classic controller and downloaded some games. Altogether, I have super mario bros, kid icarus, kirby's adventure, castevania 1, toejam n earl, romance of the 3 kingdoms, bonk's adventure, and super mario world. Once I get my paychecks, I'm buying all the VC games available. |

K, I didn't like Super Paper Mario. Sure, it's oh-so-very witty, and has endless unique ideas, but it just coma-inducingly easy. Don't even get me started on that Ninja tournament thing. |

Sammer's Kingdom was by far my favorite world. But I do agree it was far too easy. Especially the bosses. However, I really liked the game, especially the story. I thought it was a great game. |

I'm actually having trouble with the first boss, that robot dragon thing. It tells me to throw the guy at him, but i can never seem to hit it. |

So you're riding on his back when you get stuck? You have to pick one of the little robots up and hurl it at his blinking light. If you're having trouble hitting it, try jumping and throwing it in midair. |

Except for the fact that the Chapter 8-2 fight with Mimi wittled me down to 1 HP, without any recovery items. So now I'm stuck in the next level struggling to even get through the first room without taking a single hit. ARGIE-BUBBLE-BUBBLE!!! |

Mario Party 8 is easily going to be the next Wii game I get. It looks awesome, and the Wii interface is almost guaranteed to bring the series out of the funk its been in. ramrod wrote: Acekirby wrote: You have to pick one of the little robots up and hurl it at his blinking light. It's not possible. You've got two more levels left, including the final boss. My advice? Cut your losses, head back to Flipside, and stock up on Super Shroom Shakes. It's all you can do. |

@ Ace: I'm pretty sure the Return pipe thing doesn't work at Castle Bleck. It said something about it not working if if it's out of range. It's really pretty crazy. I spent an incredible amount of time treasure hunting, backtracking, and side-questing just to be prepared for the final chapter--I actually ended up filling Howzitt's shop with loads of cooked stuff just waiting to be used--but it turned out I had way too much for me to hold. I should've picked better items out (I mostly picked life shrooms and anything that would power-up my stats for a time, like Courage shells). |

I always figured "out of range" meant if you were in a boss or miniboss battle - that's the only logical time to prevent you from escaping. Try using it. I'll be very surprised if the game doesn't let you leave Castle Bleck. My advice for items to get is tons of Super Shroom Shakes, a few Life Shrooms, and maybe a few power-ups. |

It got poor reviews, some saying the Wii controls felt a bit "tacked on" in places. Maybe you should rent it? |

Woot! This Monday marks the arrival of 100 Virtual Console titles in America, and Zelda II is one of them. Also, there have been 4.7 million Virtual Console titles sold, which is approximately 1,000 an hour by Nintendo's count. |

Francis's boss music = win. Castle Bleck music = epic win. Mega Koopa in 3-1 = mega win. Oh, and yeah, I beat the game. Now I have to do the insanely hard Pits of 100 Trials (yeah, pits) and the Duel of 100. Don't forgot about finding all 256 Catch Cards. (My brother got to a little after level 60 in the Pit before dying. Whoa. He's beaten the game, too. He did chapters 6-8 without my help. I'm impressed.) Still gotta put my Wii number on here. |
