Alright guys, don't have your fights here, keep them on the WiFi. Stupid arguments are less fun for everyone, so quit it now before this gets worse/out of hand.

Additionally, let's just all agree to not purposefully quit out of matches with each other. Not that I'm saying anyone has, I can't know that for sure, this is the rule of thumb from now on. Now get back to brawling and have that thing we call fun!

My hallmate *loathes* the nintendogs assist.

He was simply running away frokm the opponent, not actually quitting the match. But I agree with you, that should just be common sense.

Oh, okay. For some reason I took running away as quitting the match. Same applies, though. Running away can work in the short term and logically for many little things too (who would run *towards* a falcon punch unless you've got something up your sleeve?) but just running the whole match is just as annoying as quitting the match, and the same rules of common sense apply.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I hate when people back out of Rock Band or GH3 matches just because they're about to lose, and they don't want to lose their precious streak.

Double check that code, it's giving me a "Friend code is not correct" error even though I've got it perfect

Since the Wii Codes List thread isn't really being updated as of late, I may compile the list of currently known Friend Codes in a bit. If you do have time though, please do it before me, as I have a bunch of homework to do first.

I'm starting to like Diddy. He doesn't have any really powerful finishers, and his speicals are meh, but he's fun to play as, especially on maps with lots of walls. (he can cling to walls as well as wall-jump) I mean, I like Dedede and all, but I've always prefered light fast characters anyway. I can't wait to try Sonic...

Speaking of D3, I just found out his Inhale move can eat thrown items, like Wario's Bite can. This makes it less useless.

You know just about everyone can wall jump, right?

Diddy is cool but I absolutely hate his Up B. As for Sonic he IS fast but eh...something about him. I do like how he can still attack and whatnot after using his Up B, though. That's really useful.

At first I hated Lucas because I liked the nostalgia of Ness more but once I played with Lucas I realized that holy crap he is fast.

Only Diddy can actually stick to walls though, I think. Eh, it's not a huge difference.

Also, you're right about his Up + B, it takes a second or two to charge, it doesn't go that far, and your opponent can break it if he's fast. I don't like it.

I play as Pokemon Trainer primarily for Squirtle. I'm okay with Ivysaur. I suck with Charizard and mainly use him only to finish someone off.

YO GUYS! Brainwavez!! We should organize some HRWF Brawl sessions! Like I'm sayin' we get as many as people possible on the WiFi and get some intense four player battles going. I mean come on, we've been anticipating this game for months, even years. We gotta do something to kick of its release.

Just throwin' it out there...

So is there anyone here I haven't whupped yet?

EDIT:

By the way, The key strategy With sonic seems to be to hit and retreat over and over, make use of his ridiculous speed. When they need to recover, spam homing dash.

Only Diddy Kong, Squirtle, Sheik and...

...can wall cling.

Also I have finally gotten to play as R.O.B. and dang is he a beast. I was just playing around before, but he turned out to be really good. He's moderately fast, pretty heavy, has two great projectiles and some fine finishers. Plus his Up+B is extremely powerful, and combined with his killer down, back, and neutral air moves, makes him a master of the air. Plus he's simply just fun. :-D

Also Diddy Kong's recovery seems to cover plenty of distance, expecially horizontal, when fully charged and aimed far the side. As long as you're far off the edge where no one can get you, he seems fine to me in that aspect. It is puny if you just shoot it off uncharged though.

Dedede's crouching pose is hilarious. He's all like, "sup, ladies?".

Also, question for anyone who's unlocked Ganondorf: Is he still a Falcon clone?
