I've been trying to figure this out myself.

I figured it out.

Hit the Upper Left button once. Yeah, Apparently that blank space left of the @ is a space.

Just finished SSE. And hated every minute of it.

Heres why:

-Cut scenes though good seemed forced in places. Also many were randomly scattered between levels with nothing to do with what I just did.

-They tried to make it a platformer which its not.

-Level Design seemed very uninspired.

-The random doors in the middle of now where ticked me off.

-The whole plot moved much to fast.

-Very repetitive.

-The last level aka the maze, is the worst possible thing they could have done.

-Final boss was a pushover.

-Sonic was force added. He didn't need to be there.

In other news, I just got all the characters. And my god

You have a good point there. But, the game is still awesome.

I'm definitely liking the Subspace Emissary so far; it feels well-built, in my opinion, and it's definitely leagues above Melee's single player Adventure offering.

I also got done playing Jon over Wi-Fi for about an hour. I really need to work on my skills.

The only thing I don't seem to like about SSE is the cutscenes. Some of them are weird.

Clearly you have never played any Kirby game at all.

Hahahaaa yesss! Ike's quickly becoming one of my regulars, he might even become my main character at this rate. His jumping is definitely one of his weaknesses, and his Aether can be frustrating when trying to recover, but his Final Smash is just EPIC!! Amg.

Hey I'm looking to purchase this game. Do I need any special controller of some kind to attain maximum enjoyment? Or is the Wiimote fine?

Post subject:  Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion

No, you can use the wiimote.

And the person up there who said they hate Subspace Emissary hates fun.

Just because I hate the SSE means I hate fun? What crap is that. I love all the other modes. Such as boss battle, brawl, stage builder, etc.

When I first used Ike I thought "oh no he's going to be too slow". I was scared because I had high hopes of him replacing Roy as one of my mains, and he seemed a lot slower. But once I started getting used to his movements and his RAW POWER, I started getting good with him.

By the way: Sonic's homing attack is broken in sudden death mode.

Dedede is pure ballin'. Almost guaranteed KO at only 50% damage with his side smash? Yes plz.

The fact he can fly and has a great recovery move just makes him better. The only thing I don't like about him is the slowness of his attacks and his mediocre Final Smash.

My Wii can't read Brawl. Now for a week of doing something else (and I just got ungrounded from the Wii!) and waiting for it to get back. Oh well. At least I was able to get a copy.

In closing, this guy's ridiculous anger makes me laugh.

All of this is true. Though for some reason I think he's one of the quickest heavywieghts. Maybe it's because his hammer gives him that extra reach. His Final Smash is mediocre, but you can't have everything. It's godly on like Final Destination or Yoshi's Island though.

I got the game yesterday, and my goodness does it own. I love playing as Meta Knight and Ike, for awesomeness and beastliness, repectively. Snake kind of disappointed me, I thought he would be manufactured from things of win-like quality, but he's not too fun to play as.

I've barely played any SSE (3% complete FTW), just a ton of VS matches with my little brother. But that might be fun once I get into it.

Post subject:  Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion

I'm 28% into SSE. So far, Meta Knight and Pit are my main guys. I'm a little upset with Pit and his occasional inability to know someone off the stage. But, Meta Knight is still ballin'.

Squirtle is yummy too. Not Ivysaur or Charizard. Just Squirtle.

Did some online brawling with a friend from school tonight. It was pretty fun times. He's one of those people who's just naturally good at every video game he touches, but I got a couple wins in here and there. When it came to lag things were alright for the most part... but there were some pretty rough points. All in all, pretty fun. I'm starting to think through my main choice a bit more though... Ike's jumping messed me up bad in Rumble Falls...

By the way... DS_Kid, iKipapa and JTHomeslice, I added you guys up. So ya'll can add me back if you want to start some online brawlage or whatevs. I'll be adding more of you HRWF peeps in due time.

Post subject:  Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion

I personally love the Subspace Emissary. I heard middling reviews about poor level design and dull and easy enemies, but I'm at around 50% on Hard difficulty and so far I've had a blast. I guess it's because I like Kirby games so much.

The cutscenes and story mode are fun. But I also find level design interesting (though aggrivating in a few choice areas) and I love how the 3D background often meshes with the foreground. The characters are varied and I enjoy the enemies. They put up a decent fight and certainly the dull cannon fodder I was expecting.

Other than that King Dedede is awesome and probably my favorite character so far. I also recently unlocked Snake and he is a blast to play as, expecially his awesome Down+B attack.

Post subject:  Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion

I'm loving Subspace Emissary right now. Mainly because I always play it with my little brother. We talk to each other, yell and scream when we're being throw off-stage, and laugh hysterically at the cutscenes worth laughing at. It makes it twice the fun! Sometimes we argue about who gets Pit, Link and Fox, though.
Adventure Mode co-op is one of the best things that was thought up for Brawl.

i just finished it on (groan) normal mode. and man, that was SOOOOOOOO much fun. Belive it or not, i actually ENJOIED the maze. I love kirby games and all (and the fact that att 100% of most kirby games, you can play as meta knight.) but this just seems mildly diffrent. I have no idea why

anyway. ill be getting on at about 4:30 eastern 3:30 mid 1:30 west coast. If you wanna battle me (and bacisly own the crap out of me, i know you want tooooo!) gimme a pm here on the forum with your fc if its not your sig or somthig like that.
