Probably has to do with some dust buildup in your Wii. Why do I not hear about these dual-layer issues with other games on other systems?

I thought those were just caused by crappy disc lasers instead of dust, but okay.

If you have disc read problems or cutscene skippings, your Wii is too dirty... HERE is information for getting it cleaned, don't try doing it yourself.

What does the age of your room have to do with anything?

I'm going to stop by Best Buy after church to see if there are any copies left. I highly doubt there will be, but hey, it's worth a shot.

I'm going to be getting this game later today, hopefully. Won't be able to play it for another week though.

It's funny that daylight savings starts the day it comes out. That means one less hour to wait for everyone. :)

So my friend, his friend, and I drove 40 minutes to the nearest Gamestop. We got there at about 11:40, and were at a rough estimate 20-30th in line, with maybe half the people in front of us just there for the ride (like myself) so ideally the line was shorter than it seemed. Anyhow, the clock struck twelve, the registers opened, and we were out of there by 12:03 and home at the Grove by 12:45 and we played until what ened up being 4am with DST.

It ruled. :eekdance:

In review, Pit is great, D^3 is great, Ike is crazy, Olimar is weird, Pokemon trainer is unwieldy at first, Mario's pretty good, Diddy's okay, Zero Suit Samus has some getting used to, Cook Kirby ticks people off, as do Pikmin and sticky bombs. All in all SO MUCH FUN *squee*

I have played it and it is awesome.

I actually found Wario to be lots of fun - better than I expected. Plus nothing's better than running over everyone with your motorcycle, jumping off, and then swallowing it whole.

Pit and Meta Knight were both flying beasts, but I didn't play with them too much. Ike was also great as a strong powerhouse and was loads of fun.

Olimar and Pokemon Trainer are both a bit unweildly, I'm sure I just need more practice with them. They are both really fun, though the Trainer's voice is really annoying. Lucas was pretty fun too, I was proficient enough with him.

Diddy Kong... I dunno, he just didn't click with me. King Dedede was loads of fun, but I sucked at him. I never played Zero Suit Samus... are those are the starting newcomers? At any rate, good times. Also Luigi is more awesome than ever.

That sucks that Diddy apparently sucks, I was looking forward to him.

Also, once somebody unlocks Wolf, I need a report on how he plays, I'm really looking forward to him, and from the few seconds of seeing him playing on the innernet, he doesn't look to much like a Fox clone, but I won't hold me breath...

Spoilers

Hey man, spoilers. Better block that out before Acekirby comes and gets spoiled/bans you.

Anyway, Diddy Kong doesn't suck, I've heard many good things about him. And he looks very promising and his Up+B is great. I just couldn't get a good grasp on his playstyle, expecially his peanut popgun.

Was the list of friend codes deleted in the Purge? If it's still around somewhere, could someone post a link?

I hate Gamestop. I reserved the game about 2 or so months ago and put maybe 37 dollas down on it. And today, It turns out my name ain't on the list. We lost the receipt with the reserve on it, so I'm out 37 bucks. Great. I'm going out to another one later, so I should have by today. Expect a code!
