Regardless of that, the point I was trying to make was that a lot of copyright entries in the booklet were simply there because of mentions to characters from other series (people were speculating what these copyrights meant from the older posts I read there).

I found a link to a different thread that is updating with scans of every page in the booklet: there isn't really anything new in it; it is mainly information from the Dojo.

While those don't have any real new information, a new tidbit has just surfaced with MAJOR SPOILERS (so beware) that seem to be legit.

Basically you can find it somewhere around the four minute area of this video on the official Wii website. Basically during the sticker scene, you can see it briefly cycle through stickers and see the icons of which characters they work with. It shows two new veterans and a newcomer. Now don't go searching for it on YouTube, as you may find an earlier person that lacks of new information (the area used to be blank), probably as it was only later added in anticipation of last Friday's update.

Because that video can be hard to work with, here are some images of the leaked spoilers. You can see the icons on the bottom right, click at your own risk.

Exhibit A.
Exhibit B.

Not sure how Nintendo let something so major slip like this. I certainly didn't mean to get spoiled, but it's too late now. Discuss if you want. Wonder if tomorrow's update will acknowledge this in any way...

So what, that's Ness, Jigglypuff, and Lucario?

Shame, I was hoping it'd be Ridley or Megaman. The post that was copied from 4chan a while back (about Dragoon) already said Ness and Lucario would be in the game. Bah.

juys: it's nothing MINDSMASHING (unless that's not who I think it is)

The video was changed back, it seems. But it's too late! The conspiracy is already out! I can confirm that this was real, at least as far as the video having been on the website is concerned. If you guys trust me. :)

And you're correct in your character assumptions, TEF. Whether it is "mindsmashing" or not depends on who you're expecting and who you think was gone, I was caught by surprise by the one in the first screenshot.

...Saying 'he's back' doesn't actually give you any information. It tells you a male character is returning. And given all the female characters have been confirmed already, it tells you virtually nothing. I could be talking about anybody.

Anyway. Light Arrow. Nice to see how it works and the differences between them. Could've asked for better, but you can't be picky.

Mwa ha ha. It's always funny when Nintendo screws up.

YES! Lucario RULES.

But they didn't show Mewtwo. Unless they haven't finished him yet.

I believe the most pessimistic view is Lucario's replacing Mewtwo. It seems logical - Mewtwo wasn't the most useful fighter, Lucario could perform Shadow Ball, Disable, Teleport, and Confusion could be changed to something a little more fitting. Plus due to the fact he doesn't spend all his time floating, suddenly he's not so easy to knock halfway to Sunday.

It's possible that he won't be playable, or that he hadn't been unlocked for that screenshot yet, or that the selected sticker couldn't be applied to him..

JIGGY. Now I can rest easy while continuing to demand Ridley and Megaman. Lucario could be pretty cool since his signature move is Aura Sphere, basically a Hadouken.

kerrek_slaya: Your quote/spoiler tag is broken (at least, at the time of this post it was).

This seems to be pretty cool; I'm kinda glad that Ness is still in this game. I don't know too much about Lucario though, so it should be interesting to see what he's like.

Well, either it's not now, someone edited it, or you're seeing something I'm not, because it's working fine for me..

Hmm...so yeah...Zelda's final smash. I already knew about it from last week, but it still seems pretty cool.

EDIT: Ack, Anti-Moron feature didn't work this time.

Manaphy?

...Oh, that should be interesting.

I wonder, will they be able to operate Ditto the way they intended for Melee in this game?

Hey, just so you all know, there's a new update on the Notices part of the website. For some reason, it's on the main page of all except the USA and Japanese versions of the site. So, check out the UK version of the Dojo and see it.

Either they must have updated at different times, or maybe my cache is acting stupid.

I like Sheik's redesign. It kind of disappoints me that they were considering putting her in Twilight Princess, because that would have been awesome.

Sheik >>>>>>>>> Zelda.
