Well, I just saw some scans of the Japanese Players guide.

I'm going to pretend I didn't see that.

we..i mean wii can only hope for an update to heal the wound of the delay.

Anyway, since we wont really get any major updates for a while (like 2 flipping months) who do you think we should have for brawl? My friend stinkoman_93 hopes (laughs very hard) naruto will be in the game. I personally hope they bring in luigi, why you ask? Cause we need sombody to make mario look even better.

This is now getting annoying, dude...

Theoretically, you could give yourself a major update daily by reading some place like NeoGaf or IGN to get Brawl information from the Japanese version of the game.

Have you played the last two Smash Bros. games before? Luigi, along with other vital characters from past games, are basically guaranteed to be in there.

I already have my wound-healing update.

I could ask for nothing more.

Homestarr 55? Luigi will be in there. Unlockable, more than likely. Just like he was in Melee.

And Joshua, you say you can ask for nothing more? How about MegaMan?

Meh, I was hoping for Megaman more than Olimar. Awesome new character nonetheless :-D

.....you got me there.

But I'm not really getting my hopes too high for him... It just seems a bit late to announce another new third party, but I suppose there's still time to release more hype. Next week, perhaps? Eh, most likely not. But it could happen! Maybe! Gah, blind optimism, my arch-nemesis. *puts hopes back down*

Brawl still has a great roster regardless, so I'll be fine.

Being in Australia it wasn't much of a wound. Since we still don't know our release date.

Still, Olimar woulld've fixed it for me.

Thats where hacking comes in, my friend! Of course, all the other hackers have been working on hacking the Wii remote to do crap like the PSP can do with homebrew software.

...So... You're saying that there's someone angrier about a one month delay than you, even though they can without much effort get it before it would even come out BEFORE the delay.

...I'm sorry, this just doesn't make sense to me.

Well assuming they were planning to import the entire time, this sudden delay kept them from getting the game for one whole week. Very upsetting.

Agreed.

(If you don't feel like posting it here for everyone to just wander into, PM it to the people who ask. Screw spoilers, it's just a fighting game. It's not like we know how to unlock the stuff that gets spoiled.)

I think I know what Jon is talking about, though I didn't save the link (it's somewhere on the Smash Boards). A guy just posted a few images from the booklet, and most of them were just images that we already knew about. There was also a scan of the copyright page, but most of the odd copyrights were just there for mentions of games by their respective company (i.e. a character from Soul Caliber II was mentioned along with Link's final smash).

basicly, yes
becuase if he orders it from japan he may have to wait till it is shipped to america. my guess is that it would take 1 month. at least its not 2 months! (note to self, learn to speak japanese)

I only skimmed the place, so my details may be off, but I do remember that many of the copyrights were simply in-reference to different video games. I believe that one portion of it mentioned Link's final smash being similar to one of his moves in Soul Caliber II, and then a character from that game was referenced in it. This was also the case with Banjo (from Banjo-Kazooie); I believe he was referenced along with a mention of Diddy Kong Racing.

Of course, I don't know the overall credibility of that place, but it was linked to a discussion about it in the IGN Boards, so I decided to check it out.

What place would you be talking about? I'm interested in seeing it regardless of credibility..

As I mentioned earlier, it was part of a thread at what I believe was Smash Boards (whatever that place that Jon discussed awhile back during the tournament player debate). I never saved the link though.

Link's Triforce Slash has no roots in SCII.

I looked up Soul Calibur on Smash Board.

According to them, it mentions links appearance in Soul caliber 2 somewhere in the game, so they needed to put Copyright crap about it.
