Either way, I'm intrigued by all this. Not to mention I'm looking forward to trying to use Olimar...

I once went to Gamecrazy and to buy Warioware Smooth moves, and they said it wasn't coming out till Summer 07

Then I went the Gamestop, and they told me the same.

Then I went to Wal-Mart on the same day and picked up a copy.

Never believe what those idiot "Game stores" Say.

...why would they delay the game again when it went gold several weeks ago? (Going "gold" means that the final programming has been completed and it is ready for printing).

I'm pretty sure that this source is either fake or wrong with their information; the announcement for a delay would occur ASAP on the Dojo site, and this article was written several days ago, meaning that there was time to post about it on the page.

Actually that particular claim turned out to be fake.

Although announcing another delay this close to release (less than two weeks in Japan... whoa) doesn't seem very likely. Plus Japan has already started advertising. So while Japan is pretty much in the clear, I suppose it's still possible (albeit unlikely) for America to be screwed over. Here's to hoping that doesn't happen. :-|

...dang, I just released how close we really are. Holy crap! :sb:

Delay this, delay that, look the delay is a simple fear, besides you still get Brawl before the PAL regions (convert to PAL, CONVERT TO PAL!)

You do know that Japan and English speak different languages, right?

I'm pretty sure the biggest issue is advertising/distribution/etc.

I can't find "English" on my map. What continent is it on?

I am, believe it or not, aware of this fact...

However, seeing as it doesn't take a considerable amount of time to translate the Dojo into multiple languages on a relatively daily basis, when compared to the amount of text appearing in a fighting game, I hardly see translation as being a real serious issue. It's not as though they make the entire game in Japanese, and then stop, go back, and translate all of it. That's something developers would do at the same time, so they can be coded together.

Funny, when my family was out hunting for a Wii, Wal-Mart lied about when they were putting the new shipment in.

I'm going to disagree with you on that. Looks like you just got sucky employees working at the stores in your town. I always go to the Gamestop or Gamecrazy in my town, much better selection. Seriously, the Wal-mart has, like, ten PS2 games.

Also, two words: Used games.

Yeah, used games. They pay you 5$ for a game they're going to resell for 30$.

I just use a online game trading site.

I mean, buying used games. Also, I've gotten good money for games.

Also, it's fun just to hang out there. There's a senior from my school who works there part time.

But anyways, toastpaint.

Yes. They have millions of PS2 and XBox games, but only 10 sucky Gamecube games. Go to game stores. They have less biased better and cheaper options.

Used games are nice. I walked into Gamestop a few weeks ago, and saw a copy of Phoenix Wright sitting there waiting for me for only $20. Awesome.

Anyone happen to know off the top of their head how much a ds lite might go for at a GameStop or GameStop equivalent?

I still don't actually own one, and would like to spend as little money as possible between now and march >.>

Gamestop.com says that refurbished Lites cost $109, new ones cost about $130.
And what does this have to do with Brawl, noob?

Aww... I was kind of hoping he'd have a Pidgeotto carry him around in the air or something.
