No kids with guns today. Security was top-notch. It was pretty cool.
But choir was at USD most of the day. We sang well, so I am happy.

Always a good thing...
Wait. Were you near where the soccer player got shot in the face?

No, that was in Omaha. I'm in San Diego. There were written bomb/gun threats for Friday in the bathrooms on two occasions this week, so security was upped for the day.

SP1 fixed a lot of that stuff. I'm content with Vista now thanks to it. Also, shortly after that post about the video, I got fed up and shut off my computer. I just turned it back on and tried publishing that video again and it worked fine so 'sall good now.

Lovely.

We used to have our backpacks searched everyday when we came in the front doors.

We pointed out an obvious security hole (the other doors were locked from the outside, but you could still open them from the inside). One of the teachers tried to get us expelled saying we wouldn't have known about that if we weren't planning something.
Truth be known, we actually were sneaking lunch into the school like that. Our school had this "no outside food" policy (meaning that people couldn't have their parents bring them fast food and stuff like that at lunchtime). We used to have my friend Adam's mom go to Wendy's then call us when she got to the school. We'd open the side door, get the food, and go back to the room (the classroom we had was a small office, we were responsible for taking calls on computer issues in the school district).

^^Haha, that sounds awesome, Sree. At my school, as long as you are an upper-classmen not on tier 2 (no D's or F's, no referrals, etc.) you can go off-campus for lunch. I'm a sophomore, so I don't have that privilege yet. It will be nice when I do though.

Anyways, today kind of sucks. It could be a perfectly good Saturday, with me doing nothing. But no, I have to go with choir AGAIN to another concert. So we just got back from Florida almost two weeks ago. This Wednesday we had a rehearsal for our concert. Thursday we had the concert. Yesterday we went to USD for another festival, and today we are going to El Camino for another concert. I have to be there at 12:30. I won't be home until 4:30.

:(

Today is my friend Andrew Priddy's birthday.
He would've been 14 if he hadn't had died last year in an ATV rollover.

I feel reminiscent.

^ I remember that. Sorry about your loss, again.

I'm really really aggravated right now, though. I wanted to relax all this vacation but there was nothing doing. I feel MORE stressed now that it's almost over.

That's why I hate going away during breaks. You don't even feel like you had any time off. I was home all my break, so I'm happy.

(and sorry to hear about that, Ninti. Must bring back an old wound, I'm sure)

I'd be all right right now if I had a new (to me) Phoenix Wright game (Justice for All). Ace Attorney saved my sanity the last time I was having a breakdown and I could use it again.

Pokemon Diamond and Kingdom Hearts saved me.

I'm pretty cold and a little depressed that all this 15 inches of snow is not looking like it's melting as fast as I'd like.

Ugh, I feel so fat now. Last night, along with a rather filling dinner, I ate some chocolate ice cream bar and a huge chocolate chip cookie. I also drank several sodas. It feels like I killed my metabolism in one night. D:

In contrast, my parents bought Pizza Hut, and I only had one slice.

The only thing I've eaten today was a Communion wafer and a little wine.

My stomach went crazy last night/this morning. I'm afraid to test the waters, so to speak.

You know one thing that has always made me feel great for some reason?

Building Gundam models.

For some reason, only building Gundam models can make me feel good, not plane models, not car models, not even Star Wars models, just Gundams.

I remember one time I built a Wing Gundam zero Custom and it came with this little card that you were to mail in to join some little fan club and they would send you a ranking pin. So, I filled one out, and three weeks later, and officers badge came in. I felt so proud that I accomplished something that matter so little to anyone but gave me an actual rank, I went out and bought more models, built them all, and sent in the cards with the appropriate info filled out. Again, I received more and more badges. I amassed the rank of General and I was proud.

But all of my models and badges are either at my mothers house in a box, or destroyed during the move up here.

I wish they still did those badge things... I'd like to re-gain my title again.

Get The World Ends With You. It's a really fun and innovative RPG (if you don't mind the annoying music and voice-acting). I don't even like most RPGs, but I was impressed by it...in a way it kinda reminds me of the Mario RPGs.

Also it's made by the same people who made Kingdom Hearts which is good I guess.

Cold. Like, I was in shorts and a t-shirt all weekend and this morning. All of a sudden I'm a freezing, so now I have on a jacket and jeans. I'm feeling good now, except that I have a ton of papers to write again. I can't wait for this semester to be finished!

He's unique.
Hey-- Why are you leaving on the 30th? Will you stay if I give you a cookie?

I'm feeling pretty good.
I had a great workout.
I found out that I can, in fact, finish a 5K without dying. I ran one (on a treadmill) in about 30 minutes, then did some arms, abs, back, and chest.

I R happy.

One of the things I like about college is that I can do that kind of thing every day. I usually go on the exercise bike about 6K and then do either arms and legs, depending on what day it is. I go almost every day, except when I have a lot of homework to do like today. Speaking of which, I really should be actually doing the homework and not procrastinating, but it'll get done eventually.

Enjoy the gym in college. It's a good place to pick up the lady types (but you have to be cool, don't be showin' off. They can tell). Also, it's usually free; at least it was at both universities I attended.
Now, I have to pay for it. :-(

I usually go 5 days a week. I do whatever (usually a run or an eliptical for about 30 minutes, then some weights) on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday is spinning (laugh all you want, until you take a spinning class, I won't hear your laughter), Thursday is circuit (running, cycling, weights, pushups, situps, etc. only more intense than I would ever do them on my own), Friday is an off day (usually because I'm sore from Thursday). Saturday is the same as Monday and Tuesday, and I'm off on Sunday because I usually get home from church and take a nap.

Also, I've recently begun waking up at 5:45 and running a mile or two every morning, monday thru friday.
