Excited.
I'm doing a 30 hour fast at my friend's church tomorrow, we're raising money for hungry black kids in Africa. ^_^
So, it starts Noon tomorrow, and ends at 6 Saturday evening.

The stupid thing is, we're pretty much defeating the purpose by having a huge feast at the end of it.
:\

But it's okay, I've gone like, 4 days without eating, so…

That's the way a fast works.

I think it's the purpose of starving Africans.

What about the starving white kids?

Oh yes, thats not a fast, that's just a fund raiser. A fast is usually for something personal. You're just...whats the word...empathizing? I guess you could call it a fast. You know what, nevermind, this going to become and R&P if I don't shut it now.

I'm feeling horrible. It feels like I got a knife jammed into my spine.

I'm okay, I suppose. I'm using Opera at this moment. Trying to broaden my horizons a bit. Firefox has been getting a bit crappy lately, but it could be temporary.

Many things though will take a while in getting used to.

I personally really like Opera, but I just haven't completely converted to it yet.

Today was a day that I could almost call "perfection" (in a lazy sense). I started off today by playing several rounds of Mario Kart DS online with people finally not disconnecting on me. I ended up coming in 2nd place in most of our matches. I then moved on to some Race Driver: Create and Race before it started freezing on me.

I then slept for three hours.

After waking up, I got more ideas for Midnight Hunters from my arm being asleep. I called HP Customer Support to try and fix my laptop's freezing problem when it's in sleep mode, and while their methods didn't work, the lady on the other end was really nice.

Playing Wii came next; a bit of Mario Galaxy, a bit of Excite Truck, etc.

Now I'm eating pizza and drinking cherry 7-Up.

So yeah, I'm happy. Until, of course, lacrosse kicks in to my mind with practice starting up.

That last sentence reminded me. I was supposed to have baseball practice today, but it rained. So I'm kinda disappointed.

Both.

Hilarious awkwardness will ensue.

Call Geek Squad and the prostitute. Then you can shoot a video like one you'd see in the 80's.

Kinda emotional. John Pelphrey's big return to Rupp Arena this afternoon. One of the four Unforgettables from the 1992 season.

TOTPD!! :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance:

Well, the fast finished. It was fun, I drank a WHOLE lot of V8 juice all night. I managed to raise $155 or something, which isn't very much, but meh.
Anyways, I really never got hungry, I went almost 40 hours without eating, and I only got a bit light-headed and weak.
But it was fun, we stayed in the gym at my friends church, we played really loud music (luckily, the only religious band we listened to was RED, so it was okay) and some of us played our own little version of Calvinball.
It was a lot more fun than it sounds.

You have to learn, Disk, that it's typed LACROSSE because of SI hilarity.

Aye, m'lord.

This Forum needs [epic] tags to truly get the effect right, though.

I'm feeling tired. Didn't get to sleep till around 4:30 this morning, as I was driving drunks around all last night.

Very lucky.

Apparently, I forgot to set my alarm this morning, and yet I still woke up in time to get breakfast and go to my 8am class.

I almost went *back* to sleep, because my waking up self looked up and saw 7:40 and thought at first to go back to sleep. ^^;;

How'd you feel about CBS cutting from the last minute of the really close UK game to the pregame of the Duke-St. John contest?

Ughh, don't even bring that up. Some people emailed them and they got some automated emails back saying the same thing, which was that due to some rights, the game HAD to be shown...like UK and Arkansas don't deserve that same riot. If you didn't believe (and this goes to everyone) that there is an ACC bias, now you do.

Guess who just got a job as a freshman RA in the exact dorm they wanted?? :eekdance:

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked right now. In six months, I'm going to have my own froshling horde to mess around with

I feel good, but I should be feeling bad. I'm having a typical bad day.

I went downtown with a friend to pick up our tickets for the Improv Olympics (we fifty-five of them to sell) and that was all good. I saw my girlfriend and that was a pleasant surprise. But when I got back to the bus depot at the mall my transfer expired before I could get on the bus home so I had to walk in this horrible weather with a bad knee to get home. Then, when I got home, I went to urinate and I managed to pull my pants' button off and it fell into the toilet, so I had to pull that out (my cuts burn a little still) and then do some serious hand washing. Just now my WiFi connection died, but, thankfully, my neighbour has an open connection.

I'm feeling pretty tired; lacrosse has really been long and intense over the last two days of practice. I think that I'm going to get rid of the school hand-me-down equipment for some equipment that actually fits me, though.

I'm irritated. I've been labeled a racist at my school for my take on illegal immigration, because I think all illegal aliens should be deported. Apparently illegal immigrant now means "Mexican." The public did this to themselves by trying to be funny and stereotyping. Stupid Carlos Mencia.

I know politics bore you, and some other lyrics I can't remember.

Homework = blarg. THE END
