That's all he says.

"*insert Tragedy here* happened because of *insert Counter Strike/Grand Theft Auto here*."

Wait'll he hooks up with Al Gore. "Grand Theft Auto encourages driving. Driving releases greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases cause global warming. Some polar bears die."

I was just making a point. I got mod'd for saying "ticked".

Well I guess that's an automatic mod. Funny how the "p" word (which isn't even a curse) is modded, but darn isn't.

edit by ido: I beg to differ ;p

Kind of ticked off.

A CERTAIN FRIEND OF MINE is being a whiny little female dog despite having a perfect life, and it bugs me, especially because even I'M not that frickin' whiny, and my life's nowhere near as good.

Don't even compare Al Gore to Jack Thompson.

Don't.

Even.

Both make outrageous, unfounded claims and predict dire consequences if people don't listen to them.

Oh well, I suppose Tipper Gore would be a better comparison than Al.
Remember the PMRC?

Believe it or not, but that little Parental Advisory has done more to help the music industry than harm it.

Oh you

I guess I forgot that I'm on a forum filled with conservative people, who refuse to believe that we could actually cause some damage at all with our retarded actions.

The sun has cycles. It gets hotter and colder which affects our climate.
Now, THAT, is a hard, proven, scientific fact.
Not even necessarily by the direct heat. Temperature depends a lot on cloud cover - The more clouds there are, the hotter it is, since heat bounces back from them and gets trapped. The suns cycles can affect cloud cover.
Not saying our actions might affect us SOMEWHAT, but we are likes FLEAS compared to the earth. It's gonna be pretty hard for us to do some major damage.

Crappy. I'm back home, but I don't want to be back. I like my sister's apartment more. There, I feel pretty free and happy. The food's better in quality, even. Tasty waffles, cereal, paninis, and pasta-type dinner with sometimes meat. Here, it's prison. School, homework, chores, sleep. The food even feels prisony. Bland cereal or Pop-Tarts, sandwich, and mashed potatoes, green beans, and meat. Believe me, it makes me hate food.

In a way, it makes sense when I gain weight at my sister's (about 118) and obtain a healthy movement, but maintain a steady 110 here and obtain a toilet clog weekly.

I hate school.

Honestly, what do you expect me to do when confronted with such a giant gap in logic.

The notion that humans have NO effect on the environment is a completely ridiculous thing to believe. OF COURSE we are hurting the environment. Are we hurting it enough to cause a catastrophe in our lifetime? No. In our grandkids' lifetime? I would wager not. In their grandkids' lifetime? Probably not. But we ARE affecting the environment. To think we're not at all is being blind.

You don't have to drastically change your life. A lot of people are scared that that's what Gore's message is. Just recycle a little. Support searching for alternative fuels. That's it.

I would say something here, but I'd rather not get into an argument so I'll just wait for this to settle although for the record I agree with Ace.

I'm feeling pretty good. I got my first sports physical earlier today, which was kinda odd, but I also watched my recently purchased DVD of Help!

Also, the doctor pricked my finger for a blood test at the physical, and it still hurts six hours later. >: (

Now I will resume my homework.

The worst part of your physical was the finger prick? I would have thought...

Well, you get what I mean.

I feel anxious, smarmy, narcissistic, passive-agressive, tired, bored, and frustrated.

Same as any day, really.

Ugh, I feel like crap. I'm sick, so instead of being at school I'm at home lying around trying to keep food down.

And I was supposed to be having a Funk baseball practice today, but that's sure as heck not happening...
