I was broken up with. =[ I was pretty happy this morning too, it was my one year anniversary with this woman. It's my fault it happened today, I guess. She said she wanted to talk and today I asked.

at least you didn't wait til next year. I've found that the longer you're with someone, the suckier the break up is.

Reason #327 why I will not participate in a relationship ever in my life. My condolences, Mike.

I suppose the year of happiness and awesome times totally over shadows the couple of days of "My God this sucks."

Thankfully no one's noticed that our Facebook relationship status has changed.

Just after Christmas the Facebook admins disabled my account on account of an alleged violation of the Terms of Use. And I hadn't posted any offensive material or done any of that no-no stuff, so I was pretty miffed. A disabled account sucks too, because it literally deletes (or hides??) everything you've ever done on Facebook. I'm talking comments, photo tags, groups, the whole deal. The weirdest thing about it was the fact that my sister's account was disabled at the same time.

Anyways, I emailed the admins back and sure enough it was some sorta mix up. They restored my account right before New Year's and everything I had ever done on the Faecbuuk was revived. So I'm feeling happy now, because I'm back in the loop! Seriously, it sounds shallow but sometimes without Facebook you can be so out of it.

This all hasn't been much of an interesting story though... So uh... just carry on.

So sorry to hear that, Mike.

Anyway, focusing on me (lol, self-centered), I'm tired and busy at work. Cleaning stuff up on comic pages is pretty time consuming. And I made a little timer for myself when I'll break for lunch. I might be updating it for release sometime soon. Depends on how I can make it work.

I'm horrified. Someone posing as a girl named Maria (who is clearly a child molestor) has been sending me and my brother MySpace messages asking for our last names and saying she thinks we're cute. Here's the message copy-pasted from my MySpace inbox:

"hi! do you mind if i add you? i think ur cute :]. whats your last name?"

After I deleted that one, I received another saying

"could u write back plz? :]"

I told my parents, they don't seem to see any threat.

That's cause there *is* no threat, unless you actually give "her" your last name, etc.

Yes there is. If we don't take enough precautions, she could get it from a friend of ours. You can never be too careful with pedos.

Even if he/she/it does get a hold of your last name, there isn't really much reason to worry. I mean, the world is a huge place, and I doubt that they'll just appear on your doorstep the following morning after giving out your name.

Or you can just give them a fake last name...

Author:  AbuGrape45 [ Fri Jan 04, 2008 12:43 am ]
Post subject:

I'll do that. Then they'll leave me alone.

And giving last names is dangerous. There's a database that gives you every in-depth portion of one's personal information.

That's why I love shouting out some of my personal information to the rest of the world; it's always good to take a chance--especially over the internet--where 95% of the people have no clue what they're doing.

Problem has been figured out. I'd been deleting the messages and forgot about this wonderful little tool called the "Block button"

Send them an angry face, tell them that you've called the cops, insult him, or give them the name of one of your enemies.
