Some kid at my school got MRSA sometime in late October. School wasn't cancelled, though.

There's a rumour [size=0]I'm guessing this is how non-Americans spell it[/size] going around that there are nine people with MRSA and if one more gets it, school is closed and they might take away some days from... uh... is it... holiday break? Or winter break?

But still, it's like my school wants to cut every single fiscal corner to still get everything, yet seem to screw themselves. I mean, isn't it a little redundant to have IDs even when all the entrances have cameras installed?

Indeed, and it almost worked (no detector).

I did absolutely nothing at the hospital for the six hours I was there though. All I had to do was breathe into an oxygen mask and get my blood drawn twice...and pee into a plastic container.

However, in the glorious amount of free time I had there, I managed to notice that a hole in the ceiling resembled a cartoon blowfish.

We haven't used the fireplace for 4 years. I'm not sure if it's operational.

We don't really have a chimney, per se. Instead we have a pipe and if something can fit down there, well, it'd be dead by now.
