I'm feeling... hungry, for some reason. I really need to get some food, but I'd rather just bask in the computer's warm basking glow. |

I really feel like teacher needs to give us a quick break or have a good pausing point, so that I may go and use the restroom facilities... |

Frustrated. I made a donation to this dragon boat team in Philadelphia a month ago, and I still haven't gotten my thank-you T shirt yet. Already e-mailed the guy I contributed to about two weeks ago; haven't heard from him since. |

They lure you in with talk of "Free Tote Bags!" or "Free Hat!" but when it comes for them to keep up their end of the bargain, they always point out the little *while supplies last* mark on the bottom of the donation form. Cheap jerks, maybe shelling out $50 to a Center for Leukemia Afflicted Patients isn't worth a free hat. |

Crisis averted! Now I feel like going back to my room and watching heroes while resting my arms. Bowling is tiring work for five rounds... |

Couldn't resist. Ian, I hate to admit it, but I sort of think COLA might be right. I hope I'm wrong, but I think you might have gotten taken. Of course, we could be wrong, and I hope we are. |

Speaking of donating, I just went through my old winter clothes that I've grown out of, packed them up, and took them off to the Salvation Army. So, I feel good. AND I DIDN'T EVEN GET A THANK YOU T-SHIRT! |

If a pill I just took says "Do not take anything with Iron within two hours of usage" and I just ate a hot dog with 10% iron in it...Will I start to get very sick, or no? |

Not sure. I wouldn't sweat it, though. Most everything has at least some iron in it. |

I'm feeling happy. Hey cool! I (with another l of course) knocked your power out! As for myself, I'm not feeling so well. I still have a cold, and now I have a cough. And I think I've got another ulcer coming onto my tongue. After the other one just went away a month ago.

![]() I've never heard canker sores called ulcers until right now. I was about to get all "I don't think that word means what you think it means" on you, but I started googling and found the wikipedia article on Oral Ulcers and I realized my snarkiness would have to wait for another day. I hate getting canker sores. It doesn't happen to me very often anymore, as I know how to avoid them, but they still suck. I get canker sores whenever I eat walnuts, pecans, or coconut. I don't really get it, but as long as I avoid eating too much of those nuts, I don't get canker sores. I can eat a Coconut cream pie shake at Sonic, but I can't really eat Mounds. I'm most broken hearted that I can only eat a couple of my wife's world famous absolutely delicious Pecan Tarts when she makes them, or else I pay for it for a few weeks later until the sore goes away. |

I've heard them called both things, but ulcers are easier to say. I don't get them that often, but it's mainly because I bite my mouth in some place. Generally I bite the side of my mouth, meaning I can just transfer all eating to the other side. This, however, doesn't work as well with tongue ulcers (canker sores, whatever). |

I've been having a bad cough today. Hopefully, this will be all the sickness will do for me. If not, then it's time to kiss my visit to my sister's goodbye. |

Pretty crappy. I have Strep throat. I missed work today (I went in for a meeting today but as soon as it was over, I came back home). I didn't want to go to an emergency room because it'd wind up costing out the butt (my insurance says I pay a $50 copay then 20% of the remaining bill), so I went to a doctor ($10 copay is all). Since I didn't have a doctor here, I had to find one that was taking patients. I only found 3 that were accepting patients, but only one could see me today. I went over this evening, got the throat culture, and got a prescription for some weird antibiotic (after running down the list of antibiotics I couldn't take because of allergies). My antibiotic allergies mean pretty much the only ones I can take are pretty expensive. This one is about $85 for 7 pills. Thanks to my insurance, I only have to pay $15. God, I love insurance. Hopefully, by tomorrow, I'll be feeling better. |

Today was the "not wanna eat" day. Halfway through my meeting, it hurt so bad, I had to write everything I wanted to say. |
