A cheerful, Disney-channel-sponsored "singer" and actor, who specializes in doing hip-hop covers of old blues sounds. No one with any taste can listen to this without their ears bleeding, though the accompanying TV show is kind of cute/funny.

A three man band with depressing sounding music. They sound like the death chanting monks from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It is unknown if the fat guy in the band in Strong Sad.

Solid Jumble

Author:  IantheGecko [ Sat May 20, 2006 4:06 pm ]
Post subject:

4 guys on 2 electric hammer dulcimers, 1 drummer, and a guitar. Nobody plays it; the guitar just sits there. The dulcimer players use drumsticks instead of beaters, giving it a really edgy sound. Solid Jumble's really popular with the art kids.

The Little Princes

These guys try to make slow, 70's type songs that are classics. There's a reason that they don't play oldies on the radio anymore.

A guy that covers 8-bit video game songs on Moog analog synths. Pretty cool, 'cept most of his sounds are the same.

The Hammond Experiment

Claims to be a metal band, but it's obvious from the sound of their music that they really want to be rappers. However, considering the decible value at which they scream, you can't really tell what they're saying anyway. If you could, you'd find out that their music is pretty good, if emo.

The frontman of Iron Maiden dropped off the face of the planet, so they had to get Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit to take his place. Kind of like Audioslave, only the other way around.

Somebody thought that videogame synths & metal guitars would work well...with a tuba. That's Machine Capacitye, and they pretty much suck.

A band formed from a group of robots. Their music sucks, but it has a subliminal message that forces all humans to love it. On their world tour, they plan to assimilate all of their fans.

The Kuhl Katz

Back when good lyrics weren't required for synth pop hits, they topped the charts. They wrote songs about every mundane thing you can think of, and let's not forget all the bad grammar and things that don't even make sense like, "everyone searches for the Plato in me." The members are Alessandro (vocals), Luisa (synthesizers), and Claudio (doesn't do much for the band except pose as the pretty boy).

One of those generic reggaetón bands. Every song has the EXACT SAME BEAT.

Orange

They are a Jangle Pop band that only play songs that relate to citrus fruits. They avoid redudancy by never singing about oranges. Their first album "Screw the Pine Fresh Scent" cause an outrage followed by the buring of all citrus lysol containers. Class action lawsuits were then filed due to the obvious explosion of the cans. Because of their free publicity in this incident, the band reached the Billboard Top Ten and had a regular playing music video on MTV. This new fame caused them to diverge from their normal form of music to do a spoken word Bill Shatner cover album.

Shoehorn and the lefties

Author:  PurpleKoopa [ Sun May 21, 2006 3:47 am ]

Shoehorn is a former contestant on American Idol. He plays guitar and sings mushy country love songs. The Lefties pretty much go "Ooooo....". Shoehorn and the Lefties are not very popular, although some middle aged ladies like them.

Hour of Sun

A group of South-American natives who are, mysteriously, descendants of the Inca Empire. They use pop beats to bring the Sun God, Inti, into American culture. Unfortunately, they were fed to lions by an angry mob who suspected them of being in the Mafia. They weren't.

_____ (Also known as "Blank")

Author:  Darth Katana X [ Mon May 22, 2006 11:01 pm ]

One of those frowning emo/synth/punk/rock/opera bands from the UK. They always wear ugly white suits in their pictures and eyeliner. Sometimes they have their faces colored like Darth Maul's too, only, minus the red. Their songs are nonsensically poet, stuff like, "The water of youth, girl in the midst, I'll never see her again. She walks away, and my heart turns gray, I will never see her again." Really melancholy. They have a niche cult following of gothic nerds (yes, there is such thing).

Their music just sounds like a mess. Listening to their premire album is like an entire CD full of nothing but "Revolution 9."

You'll Never Guess

Author:  Bulldozer [ Tue May 23, 2006 5:11 am ]
Post subject:

A band that wore masks and muffled all of their music. Their signature was that everyone should guess their ages and genders, as well as the melodies and lyrics to all of their music. They had such flops as "*** **** ***** *** ***** ** **** ****" and "**** **** ** * ******** ** ***." They had a fanbase consisting of a single blind-deaf-mute.

One of those bands you've never heard of, but seriously, you should. They're actually pretty awesome. They've got an awesome old-school rock 'n' roll feel, and they do this one cover of Styx's "Renegade" that is supremely awesome. One of the few bands to come out of this game that is not only comprehensible, but actually a-pretty pretty good!
