Speaking of playing us like fools, I don't think that's even a matter of question right now. We've voted off townies every round so far, and that's just awful. Someone's making this work out wrong, and we've really got to put our collective foots down on these wolves. As of this search for the SK, I think that there's a decent chance that we've got his or her attention at how much we're plotting about him out in the open. Susan, you make a good point about the active/inactive deal, but then again you're also being very vocal, right now. Why? Mike, you've barely said a word, and now you're back out in the open, conveniently at the same time Susan announced his idea. Why? Biscuit, you were very vocal and very eager to point out any idea you might possibly have, and while you're not directly responsible for killing off all those townies, you definitely had a hand in it. Now you've quieted down. Why? Noid, you wanted to know what I'm thinking, what I'm thinking is this: we're in dire straights right now, the wolves are close to jumping from 1/4 the populace to 1/3 the populace, depending on how this round goes, in addition to the next night. It's obvious to me that someone in these last few pages has been lying, and I want to have them out on a rail. Sorry about being quiet the last few days, work's been keeping me from concentrating on this. Also, I'm very sorry on voting on a human. You'll notice that I abstained the first round, so you can't hold me responsible for who I didn't vote for. These bandwagon votes are crazy, it's hard to see what lies underneath them. Heh, our lack of story clues doesn't help us much either ^^;; Everyone: stop being sheep, tell us why you're doing things, and 'because everyone else is doing it' is not a valid reason

Got it, Capt. I see where you're coming from now. I do think that we need to focus more on wolves than SK, and I've said that before, so there we go. |

I agree with Noid, looking for wolves instead of the SK right now is a better idea. There are plenty of more wolves, and only one SK. Better that we try to thin their herd a bit than run around searching for one dude. Not to mention if we try to pool our efforts into just searching for the SK, the wolves will have a much easier time trying to lead us around by our noses. |

Even if I'm wrong (I hope I'm not) he knows that we are now searching for him and he needs to be careful which we can watch for. The only reason Ive been pushing the SK is because I have no clues who a mutant is at this point. Your question about being vocal is a very valid one and my answer is simple: Up to this point the only vocal people got us nothing but human kills so somethings not really working there. I'm trying to change that and if I fail Ill take full responsibility. On the point of everyone being sheep I think there only doing it because being vocal puts you on the chopping block. Just look at what happened with the Noid. It could also happen to me if I'm wrong in my assumptions. |

Capt. Ido Nos wrote: It's obvious to me that someone in these last few pages has been lying, and I want to have them out on a rail. I have only a small amount of doubt about Noid, Susan, and Sean. Biscuithead seems more suspicious, but I'm with Noid: Villains are targeting Bisk for being semi-vocal so that the wolves can remain silent (no, not you, silent wulf) without drawing suspicion. This is a great strategy for them because we humand now have nothing to go on--with no story clues or odd behaviours to look at, all we can do is analyze voting patterns. And without any wolves caught yet, we can't do that, because we don't know who's quiet for a reason. Mike is another matter. There are three possibilities that I can think of with him: Mike is human and simply defending himself, albeit somewhat poorly, from the accusations. This leads to more suspicion against him. Mike is a wolf and simply defending himself from the accusations of him being the SK. Noid and Susan are wolves and are targeting Mike because he is a human. Mike is the SK and is lying to Noid and Susan. I'm really not sure about Capt. Because he's such a strong player, his behaviour suggests that he's a human, but he has a large floater following, suggesting that he may be a wolf. However, like I said earlier, we've all been going about this the wrong way. We need to lynch floaters, and clearly, this is not going to happen this round. Thus, I abstain. |

I've trying to keep it down for most of the game so I don't attract any attention. I'd read the topic, get caught up, and then vote if I need to or abstain if I felt that abstaining was the right way to go. That backfired, obviously. Today I noticed that I was up on the chopping block and, of course, I needed to get my butt off that block. |

I think Noid's been backing me all this time. Anyways, I'm going to go socialize for the night. If I come back dead, it's going to be all on Susan here. |

Now you've quieted down. Why? Yes I have been quiet lately. There are two reasons for this: 1. I went on holidays for 5 days (check the leaving thread if you want). 2. I was being accused by everyone for being too vocal, so yes, I deliberately stopped being so vocal. My ideas were generally wrong anyway, so I thought I'd lay off for a bit. An example of the second point: I was going to stop voting for Mike this round and tell everyone to focus on killing villains, but then I deleted my post because I knew I was suspicious and I don't want to be killed. |

Biscuithead: 7 (Sean'd, JAU, BTG, lahi, Ju Ju, Mike, Ace) MieMcG: 7 (Susan, Einoo, Biscuit, Abu, sbemail, Dacheet, Shadowfox) Abstaining: 3 (Noid, Word Up, Potates) Less than an hour left. I have the oddest feeling I missed someone's vote, so if you have voted and aren't in this vote count, please let me know! |

Oh for crying out loud, this puts me in a tight spot Look folks, let's do us all a favor and somebody else vote so I don't have to break the tie. Seriously, didn't I do that last round?

...No, you haven't broken a tie yet. On day 1 there were a bunch of last minute votes, and on day 2 Ian "won" by a large margin. I just double checked the entire round and I don't think I missed any votes. |

Day 3 There was no grisly murder scene this time, only the broken door of Chich's house to indicate that another member of the community had vanished. BTG breathed a sigh of relative relief. "Well, at least that serial murderer is gone...." "You know, I've been thinking about that," said Susan. "The night before last, I looked out my window and saw MikeMcG crossing the square way after the rest of us had gone to bed. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but the next morning we had a corpse on our hands..." Mike overheard the conversation and moved in. "Whoa whoa, what are you saying? You really think I'm the Midnight Killer? I was hanging out at sci-fi greg's house that night and I left late. It was just a coincidence that the killer struck that night!" Susan shook his head; he was not convinced that his neighbour was telling the truth. A number of others joined him in their suspicion of Mike, but many other thought that the evidence was flimsy. "I think we're wasting our time thinking about this Midnight guy when there are still W.O.L.F. agents among us," said Acekirby. "And I'm still pretty sure Biscuithead is one of them!" Eventually the votes were cast. It was clear that the neighbourhood was split between those who wanted to bring down the killer and those who wanted to focus on the mutant threat. Ido's counting seemed to take hours. After finishing, paused for a long while. He took a deep breath and said, "Mike has seven votes. Biscuithead... has seven votes." The group backed away from the two who had been named, murmuring amongst themselves. Biscuit said, "So what? Do we both..." He couldn't finish the sentence. With a grave look on his face, Ido started, "I...." We have a tie. The mayor must select one of Biscuithead or MikeMcG to lynch. The round ends when he does so. |

*sigh* As mayor, I am declaring that this is the weaksauce. Is this vote special? Do I have to pm it or something, or is it verbal like the rest of the votes? |

everyone wrote: Ido you idiot it doesn't matter You see, this is what happens when I miss my bedtime, I do dumb things without thinking them over. Just be glad I decided to stop and consider this one before spouting out a name So, after putting a lot of consideration into this and seeing how this round has played itself out, I've found that my curiosity at what allegiances are motivating this tricky behavior has helped make up my mind for me. Like I said before, I'm not happy, or at least bothered, by the way people have been acting. We've all gone over the wifom scenarios a dozen times, verbally and mentally, and it's time to just drink the danged drink, so to speak. I vote Mike. Sorry man. |
