Darn. I died and I managed to get a glimpse of Alpha. Oh well, this game was fun, even though it was long.

The one thing in that story that catches my eye is this sentence about one of the wolves: " 'Over here!' he called in a quiet, feminine voice, and the wolves gathered around."

A male wolf speaking in a feminine voice? Seems like a clue to me. At this point, I'd say it points to Susan, because he is a guy that uses a girl's name. But I admit it's not exactly strong evidence, so I'm also gonna check the story from previous days to see if I can connect it to anyone else.

[s]Rogue Leader's a loose end that hasn't been tied up yet. There was suspicion on him from older stories. Also, he hasn't been around much lately, and coincidentally most of the wolves weren't around to vote in a timely manner this time. So RL's my vote.[/s] Vote retracted for now.

Suspenseful! I like it.

Might not have had clues, but it certainly confirmed some things. This'll be interesting to see play out.

What's the evidence? The only suspicion I recall came from the "Alpha = Leader" thing, which we now know is false. Personally, I think the best bet is either Ian or Teff.

I think we should just find out whether Ian is or not as we have been suspecting him a while now. So I vote for him.

Also, just to let you all know, I'm going to be in Prince Edward Island from August 10th to August 23rd and will have little to no computer access, thus making me somewhat less active in this game.

Hey, I just got back from PEI. It's pretty freakin' hot right now, have fun.

Anyways, anyone think of the reason why the wolves took so long to vote this round? I have a couple ideas...

1. HRWFWF members defecting to the other place for good(actually happening, I'm not just makin' crap up).

-Inverse (Smart enough to post?)
-Teff (He's been around though, I dunno)
-Jello B.

Also, if Jello did turn out to be a wolf, Einoo would look pretty guilty as well (Jello said they looked at eachother's PMs so they could watch eachother's backs).

2. Didn't Cinnamon leave or get banned or something? If so, that could be the reason he was unable to vote.

3. Ian's name was dropped by Mike last round, seems like solid enough evidence to me.

Since there's alot to be considered this round, I'm going to see what people say before I vote (although I think Jello B. would be our best bet; if he is a wolf, then we pretty much know that Einoo is too, and if he isn't, then we pretty much confirm Einoo's a human).

Heh, only a couple people actually stuck with that plan. And no one who's still alive ever even planned to abandon this place to begin with.

I'll look over the stuff for Rogue Leader again later tonight. It wasn't the Alpha=Leader thing, but maybe I'm remembering wrong. If I can't find that evidence I thought I remembered being there, my vote will change.

Sorry about not posting much, I have been busy with camp and haven't really been on the forum. I really don't know who to vote this round. Ian seems like the best choice, but coming from a wolf we can't know if the information is reliable or not. For some reason I always have been a bit suspicious of Jello, but I really have nothing to act on it.

I think the fact that Einoo and Jello have only read each other's PM's, and have not approached anybody else to do the same, makes things suspicious... if they're human, they have nothing to hide (assuming the wolves know who each other are).

Either that means they're wolves... or one of them is the angel.

Hmm.

Edit: Also Ace is an HRWFWFer too...

The first post said he's being replaced by Color Printer. I wasn't sure if I should said anything about the plan anyways seeing as how (upon further consideration) anyone playing this isn't really going along with it anyways.

I'm leaning toward RL too, but I'll wait just a little while to see if anything new or definitive comes up.

Although I am very suspicious of Ian, I don't think it's evidence. I think it was just based on what happened in the thread, where Mike did the same thing.

I'm not suspicious of Teff because I don't think DG would use the leaf thing as a clue, seeing as not everyone would get it.

I'm torn between Rogue, Ian, and Inverse.

I still don't see any evidence for RL. Could someone explain it to me?

If anything it makes more sense or DG to drop clues not everyone would get.

Well, I think some people think Noid dying in front of his house was a clue, but that's pretty flimsy.

Inverse is somewhat wrong. I have been on the forum lurking and somewhat posting, just not in forum games. That really seems to be the only evidence against me, besides Noid being killed outside my house, which was done by Mike.

Day 1: At Each Other's Throats

As the voters stepped forward, arguments inevitably broke out among them. With the knowledge that any one of them could be a wolf in disguise came a natural distrust for their fellow men. "I think Ju Ju did it!" cried Rogue Leader.

RL immediately calls out someone who turns out to be the first human killed.

Quote:
Now he crept silently towards that partner's house, keeping his flashlight off so as not to be seen, and taking only the lightest of steps. When he reached the door, he knocked very tentatively and whispered, "Rogue? Are you in there?"
There was no response from within. Had Rogue Leader fallen asleep? Was the knock too quiet? Noid knocked again, louder this time, and tried to open the door. It was locked. "Rogue? Come on man, don't keep me waiting."

The wolf now identified as MikeMcG killed Noid in this situation. Noid was found in front of Rogue's house, so their meeting up could have been just a ruse to kill him.

Quote:
The rain began to pelt down over the town square almost as soon as Einoo had called the meeting. Noid's remains still lay where he had fallen in front of Rogue's cottage. As the crowd gathered round, they wondered how they could have let this happen right in the open. "I did wake up briefly last night, after hearing what I thought was a scream", said Ian, "but of course I wouldn't dare go outside that late." "I heard it too," agreed Ido Nos, and soon many others nodded or voiced their assent. Ian turned to Rogue. "What about you? You must have heard it."
"What, no-" began Rogue Leader, then he quickly added, "...I'm such a heavy sleeper, you know? Uh, I could sleep through an earthquake," he smiled weakly.

Defensiveness isn't really evidence, but it doesn't help one's case.

My best guess would be for Susan. If anything, these stories have taught us that the little things describing the wolves are usually clues. I think "he said with a feminine voice" is too descriptive to not be something. Susan is a girl's name, but from what I've heard, Susan is a he. As it stands, my vote is for Susan.

I found something that could be considered evidence:

Quote:
"What? How come you get extra power?" said Inverse.

This could be a wolf being worried, because they would know if Einoo is a human, and would be concerned he could sway the vote to a wolf.

But remember that as mayor, his vote counts twice. The extra power could just mean that.

I'd just like to point out that, besides the first vote, which was randomized because no one could possibly know anything, I've only voted for known wolves the entire time. If I'm a wolf, I'm certainly not helping at all.

Also, I'm going back and striking out my vote for Rogue Leader, because I don't have time to look back through all the stories right now.

You could always just search for RL's name and see which posts it comes up in. That's how I found the excerpts from the story with him.

Were does the little things point to wolves? Though, I must admit, that sentence does spin me in a negative way.

Well, so far, there are two examples that I can think of.

1) Dacheet's "toothy grin"

2) Our good friend Mike's accent

Also, for what other reason would DG describe a wolf as being a he, but having a feminine voice? It's too descriptive to be anything else but a clue.
