Anyone find it odd that the pm said "Human" as opposed to "Townsperson" like it did in the past games?

No, as DG said in his first post that they were known as Humans in this game...

I gotta vote Ju Ju on this one.

Isn't that cheating / making the game less fun?

The aura of uncertainty and suspicion is what makes this game good.

Well, you can try to convince people all you want that you're not a wolf--the only real proof would be a screenshot, which itself could be doctored.

That's why I was apprehensive about doing it - I felt it might ruin the spirit of the game (like you said). Apparently I didn't care enough not to do it :p Not that it'd help, anyways (as you can see)

EDIT: And RotB has a point. Even with what I thought was good proof, I didn't convince Rouge. There's no way to completely prove who you are.

Day 1: At Each Other's Throats

As the voters stepped forward, arguments inevitably broke out among them. With the knowledge that any one of them could be a wolf in disguise came a natural distrust for their fellow men. "I think Ju Ju did it!" cried Rogue Leader.
"Hey!" replied Ju Ju, "are you just guessing? There's no weay to tell from looks, and I haven't done anything suspicious."
"And that means baseless guessing is all we have!" shouted Teff. "So I vote for you too!"
"Yeah, well I vote for you right back!" retorted Ju Ju.
Einoo raised his voice. "People, please, can we have a little dignity? The point of this exercise is to show the wolves we can eliminate them without coming to blows with each other. Can you just quietly write down your votes?" The bickering slowed, but there were still harsh glares traded between several of the people. When the last vote was collected, Einoo added his own. "Oh, by the way, did I mention my vote counts twice?"
"What? How come you get extra power?" said Inverse.
"Because it's my idea and I'm your leader. Does any one want to argue with that?" Inverse rolled his eyes; there was no point in debating with Einoo when his mind was set. Einoo then counted the ballots in the jar. "Hm, looks like my power didn't sway the vote anyway. The winner is Ju Ju by a landslide. Please step forward, Ju."
Ju Ju was crestfallen. He couldn't believe that a random guess had led to this fate. He resisted going into the centre of the square, but his fellows slowly pushed him along, eager to get the gruesome deed over with, glad it wasn't them. Ju Ju faced Einoo with a pleading look in his eye, and said, "Do you really think I could be a killer?"
"Personally? No... but they obviously do. It's really a shame that it had to come to this, but there is no other way."
"Einoo, please-" Ju Ju's words were cut short as Einoo fired his handgun. He slumped ungracefully to the ground. The crowd watched silently for a few minutes, waiting for any attempt to transform. There was none. "I'm so sorry," whispered Einoo. The crowd slowly dispersed, shaken by this display of their harsh reality.

That night, in a clearing far from the settlement that none of the humans had yet discovered, eight small wolves gathered alongside their giant brothers under the waxing moon. One of the smaller ones turned to another and said, "Excellent work dispatching Homer last night. We couldn't have him outing us to the community."
The second, a young grey with a patch of black, smirked - as far as a wolf's face can smirk. But another wolf raised his voice. "I think this whole plan is rubbish. Even making them aware of our existence endangers us. We lived among them for six months without them noticing, why waste that? We should just continue taking the local wildlife."
"Until when?" argued the first wolf. "Until we hunt this island dry? There are more of us now than there were before, and the rabbits and deers are shrinking in number every day. And besides, Alpha is growing weaker; he needs something with more meat on it. You should be grateful that we have a stock of humans."
Another voice piped up from the back of the pack. "Do you really think we can restore his strength enough to free him? Isn't that just an old legend?"
The first wolf barked with laughter. "Just and old legend? Boy, here of all places is where you should pay attention to legends. It's up to us to restore Alpha. These brutes don't know what they're doing," he said, indicating the large wolves patrolling the clearing. "But us? We're the best of both worlds. Doesn't that make you feel proud?"
With this, the wolves set out to plan their next target. Once they had decided, they raised their heads as one and howled. The big wolves, not gifted with intelligence, joined in, not knowing why.

SUMMARY
- Story stuff: There is some animosity in both human and wolf camps. The wolves have been hiding among the humans all along, but now need to hunt them to feed themselves and their alpha male.
- Ju Ju has been killed. He was a human.
- It is now night. Wolves and angel PM me.
- 14 humans and 8 wolves remain. [/b]

anyways, does that "Alpha" contain a hint? Because I have my idea for a wolf now if it does...

I assume it's just referring to the Alpha male, the leader of a wolf pack.

Hey, someone's gotta get lynched. Besides, I would've been suspicious of myself after the stuff I said. I barely remember posting that Capt one, I must've been pretty tired. Not sure what Iw as thinking there.

Well considering that my previous game did and that DG is my sister. I think she probibly does have clues in the story, though im completely oblivious to them at the moment.

That's why I'm asking, because a certain user has leader in their name...

oh, and he just happens to play this game.....

(lynch away! :p)

Or it could be Exhibit "Alpha"... or Einoo as the leader of the town.

Except that they're talking about Alpha like he's not there, but the story says all 8 of the werewolves were there in the clearing.

And if there ARE hints in the stories, maybe that mark on the face really meant something.

Post subject:

Notice how it said some of them were young. This means younger players = some wolves, possibly.

('cept i'm not a wolf - that would ruin their chances of winning, possibly, if I was.)

If Alpha hints to anytihng, it's either Rogue Leader, Exhibit A, or Einoo.

sadly, I don't know which one it is if I am right.

Author:  The Experimental Film [ Wed Jun 27, 2007 9:27 pm ]
Post subject:  hmm

Seeing as the story never used the word "leader", Alpha seems like it would be pointing to Exhibit A...

BUT, LOL, I'M JUST TEFF, I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!

Author:  Exhibit A [ Wed Jun 27, 2007 9:34 pm ]
Post subject:

Well, I still think that the wolf with the mark points to Teff. Plus, I know this will sound like I'm covering myself, but since they're talking about freeing 'Alpha', he almost certainly isn't one of the wolves that are attacking us.
