In the classic movie fashion, Eruantian thrusted both of his fists in the air and yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" then dramaticly fell to his knees, hanging his head in grief. |

<Yes, Tyr is a Good-aligned god primarily concerned with Law, Order, and Justice. IN this universe, he is the paramount god of Order (that is, all other gods who are aligned with Order serve Tyr in some shape or form). He is one the the most powerfully deities in this univirse, but he cannot enter the Prime Material Plane for reasons I have yet to reveal. Tyr often forms alliances with other good-aligned gods, and stratigic alliances with neutral-aligned gods. The reason for the apparent chaos surrounding the ring is that Try is now in active conflict with a trio of powerful Evil-aligned chaotic gods who have ambushed him in the pocket dimension that Eruntian, Auriel and Maria just left. Maria is a Paladin, a type of holy-warrior/knight. Palidans have limited divine-magic abilities. In maria's case, she was "supercharged" by Tyr for her role in the events that unfolded in the pocket plane. Paladins are very committed to a specific ethos or moral code, in her case: Courage, justice, perseverance, relief of suffering, duty, obedience, honor, and righteousness. Maria came from the afterlife to serve Tyr... one of the few gods that can return someone from the afterlife to the prime material plane. She doesn't realize it yet, but she is mortal again and de-powered. She will be joining the group for quite some time. |

Maria replied: "Mind Flayer, I am indeed a Paladin of Tyr. Maria is my name. Tyr was forced to change his plans when he was unexpectedly attacked by some evil god or gods. I do not understand how or why that could occur, but I have faith that Try will win in the end and that Good and Order will prevail. Now, could someone please tell me where we are?" |

My connection to Tyr is fading, and I seem to be becomeing mortal again. Somehow, though, I know that the Ring has found it's way to a friend.. to a mountain with a dwarven forge... and a elven smith... and a White Dragon. Do you know of such a place?" Sarge wrote: "Now, could someone please tell me where we are?"
Aurieul ignored those asking about her; she'd have time to introduce herself later. Instead, she spoke to Eruantian (after he was done freaking out StarWars style). "Maybe the ring went to the Talismonger you are seeking on White Dragon Peak? Even if someone else in the area possesses it, it seems our destination hasn't really changed." Then she turned to Maria. "We're a few hours from Targos, headed toward White Dragon Peak." Then Aurieul began to think of the potential problems Eruantian might have without the ring. She'd heard of situations where magical items separated from owners led to disaster. She spoke quietly to Eruantian. No point worrying everyone if this wasn't that type of item. "How long have you had the ring? Does it affect you when you aren't near it? Sorry if I'm asking silly questions, but I haven't really heard much about it." EDIT: Added response to Maria |

"I would like to consider myself one, yes." Horin replied. "That ring seems to do more than anyone or anything I know. First it kills the Wolf, then it puts him in a trance, now it's lost in some place we don't know anything about, except for something about a forge." He said, hoping to cheer up Eruantian. "Care for something to drink? I have some ale if you like." |

"Friends only in the loosest sense of the word," Taryn replied, just to make that clear. "Also, food is ready," she announced to everyone. "Acedia is still busy sulking somewhere around here," she continued, looking around a bit. |

Eruantian screamed in Horin's face as he punched the mug of ale out of Horin's hand "So typical of a dwarf! Always thinking with your mind stuck in the tavern!" It was quite obvious that Eruantian was on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown, which is understandable considering he just lost his last and most prized possession.

"That would be his human roots showing through, there," Taryn remarked, watching Eruantian rage. "Really, there's no call for such a scene. We have an idea of the ring's location and can be reasonably assured that it is in good hands. And as an added bonus, it happens to be in exactly the place we're headed anyway." Sympathy never has been one of her strong points. She's aware of the fact that all Eruantian has now to his name are the clothes on his back, but connecting that to any kind of empathetic emotion appears to be posing quite a challenge. |

Tem walked over nonchalantly, and slapped Eruantian in the face a few times. "Get a hold of yourself, man! I think I see the ring. In fact..." he said. Tem picked up the ring, where Horin was standing a second ago. "Don't make me have to weld this onto your finger. Don't freak out so much, ksafug. Oh, wait, nevermind, it's just a rock." |

<Please don't contradict previously laid-down continuity, Tem. Tem does NOT currently have the ring... however...> Eruntian thought he heard Tem say he'd found the ring, but then he realised he was halucinating. Horin realized that Eruntian was hyperventilating, and that he had better calm him down before he got himself into some real trouble. Maria was thinking the same thing, but when she instinctively went to lay-on-hands on Eruntian, she discovered that all her Divine Magic powers are now a mere fraction of what they once were. Shocked, she looked at her hands and stared, wordlessly. |

Maria said: "My.. my powers... they're so weak. It's as if I was a novice again. And my hands... the seem to have real blood in their veins. I have to be sure. Somebody prick my finger. If I bleed, I'm fully mortal again. If not, then I am but spirit." <Who's got something pointy? |

"Eruantian, please calm down, you're hyperventilating." He said, not really noticing that he had just had the mug swatted out of his hand. "Just calm down, please, we'll find your ring, I guarantee it." He hoped Eruantian would sit down. "I know it's hard to lose something that important, but this will be a temporary loss, we WILL find it." He knew he was being redundant, but he also knew the reassurance had a greater chance of calming the half-crazed half-Elf in front of him. He heard Maria while he was talking. "I have an axe if it's sharp enough, it's in my tent." He said, pointing out the small tent with nothing in it except a bedroll and a barrel that had a candle resting on it. |

{ Tar does. XD } "An axe won't be necessary, Horin," Taryn said, producing a small dagger. In one fluid motion, she made a quick, shallow slice across Maria's fingertip and had the dagger put away again. "Are you bleeding?" she asked, peering at the cut digit. |

Prosper also knelt beside Eruantian, with compasionate eyes. "I've always thought that a full belly and a good rest help a weary soul." said Prosper, putting his hand on the half elfs shoulder. "Horrins right, let's get some food, alright?" <I'm leaving untill Sunday/Monday. I relinquish my character to Sarge> |

"Oh joyous day!" said Maria: "I bleed! Tyr has returned me to life. I must give thanks for his glorious..." but she never finished the sentance, becasue an arrow whizzed through the air and peirced her neck from front to back. "Arg! Sniper!" was all she was able to get out before she fell down, in great pain and bleeding profusely. The arrow had missed the esophagus and the wind pipe, but she was badly wounded never the less. Drek, who was about 400 meters from the encampment, heard the arrow fly and signaled to Maxwell, Farnham, and Captain Sealem to continue back to the camp with the wagon quickly, and then he huridly got his bow ready, drew an arrow, and went in search of the sniper. Even with all his heightened senses, Marcus couldn't see the assailant, and nobody else was having much better luck. Whoever the sniper was, he or she (or perhaps it?) was very well hidden. |

"Oh, bugger. I think that might've come from Acedia's general direction. I think I might go see if she's okay." Taryn quickly scuttled off in the general direction of the arrow (and Acedia). It would certainly be an interesting twist if it turned out that Acedia had been the so-called sniper, she mused. Interesting because Acedia is a lousy shot with a bow; she has trouble hitting a target at point blank range. She'll miss if the arrow's tip was close enough to touch the target before being pulled back. Also interesting because that would mean that Taryn was dreaming, which (since she does not sleep) is just one of those Things That Don't Happen. |

After being being patronized by various members of the party, Eruantian shoved them away screaming "Get off me! I don't need your condescending pity or your trivial suggestions of self-satisfaction! With or without you, I'm going to White Dragon Peak right now and I'm not resting untill I get there. If any of you try to stop me, so help me I'll!!!..." His ranting was cut short by the bloody sight of Maria being pierced in the neck, which, for a moment, caused him to feel sorry for someone other than himself. Emotional and pumped full of adrenaline, Eruantian ran straight towards the sniper with his sword drawn, screaming and flailing like a crazed mad man. It was official: Eruantian had completely lost his mind. |

'nope, I am my mind. I exited my body to find anyone's presence I don't know. I'd see their aura.' thought to Horin. In this form he was at peak telepathy, and could see people's mind. Then again, it could be a crossbow golem.<hint, hint> |

From the ethereal plane, Tem could see something out in the forest, high up in a tree. Two minds.. two auras.. cloaked in a dampening field that nearly hid them from even his highly-developed telepathic powers. But what worried him is that were many more auras, humanoid auras, hidden in the forest. <Golems don't have brains, so these aren't golems. Nice idea ten10, but I had something else in mind.> |

"lfdkjgbhkselrhbgkjersbh!" said Tem, returning to his body. He fired a crossbow bolt into the tree, and the two bodies fell out. He took the damper, sure it would come in handy... at some point. "Guys! They're everywhere! We might be adventurers, but we're still outnumbered, outarrowed, and our paladin's bleeding. We should surrender." Tem sat down, calmly knowing the bandits would come out of hiding, taking their stuff. little did they know, he had a psi bomb readying... |

Prosper was thrown to the ground by Eruantians flailing, so Horrins order to 'get down' was quickly forseen. The next thing he did was get to cover behind a nearby tree. "What do we do?" he asked, readying his spear. |
