<OOC> Till morning? I thought it was still day time. It was about dawn when we left town and the Dire Wolf was headed straight for us. Shouldn't that make it about lunch time now? You can just about set your watch by Marcus' stomach, that is if watches had been invented....

<GM's note: ...Which they haven't. And it's morning. Say about 10:30 AM or so.
So long as Somm-1 plays Tem as his main character there's little problem. He did make up some NPCs and go off with them on a side quest by himself, though, and that's not what this game is about. As a interlude I suppose it did provide some background and dimention to Tem, but let's not make a habbit of solo adventures, OK people? Remember the rules form page 1: Don't describe the actions of another character (Player-character or NPC) unless it's in terms of an interaction with your player-character. So, for example, you can tell us what Sam the Bartender says to you when you ask for something, but don't describe what he does with someone other than your character. Or, let's say a barroom brawl breaks out and you're in the middle of it. Well, everyone in the brawl is interacting (more or less) with your character so it's fair for you to be able to describe what they were doing as your character was in close proximity to their melee.
The only exception is for the Major NPCs, who are under special GM-only control. Maxwell, Farnham, and Captain Sealem are the three Major NPCs. Lord Dunmoor is a just plot device (that is, I introduced him strictly as a literary device to move the plot forward, not to act as a character in the story). All the other characters you've met are regular old NPCs.
If you're unclear on any of this, PM me and I'll try and clarify it further for you.>
Maxwell and Farnham came to the Healer's tent. Farnham said: Hey, look: Tem's back.Hey Tem, where were you? You were supposed to be watching Prosper when we fought the Dire Wolf, and he nearly died out there. Hey... you're.. you're not a ghost anymore, are you? I can't see through you like before? You got your tenticle back, didn't you?"
Meanwhile, Maxwell went over to Propser and sat down beside him. Captain Sealem was sitting on the side of the bed. "How is he, Captain?"
Captain Sealem said: "He'll be alright. The wound was grave, but the Dwarven healer named Horin did well his job well this day. It was I who nearly failed him. I am his bodyguard, by order of my Emperor, and I nearly failed in that task. I should never have allowed him to get that close to the Dire Wolf. What was I thinking?"
Maxwell nodded: "You are his bodyguard, yes, but you can't protect him from everything; try as you might. Prosper fought bravely today, so don't blame yourself that he was ingured Sealem. He knew what he was getting himself into. We all did.
You know, he did OK for someone who's not trained to use a spear."
"He nearly lost his arm."
"Which is a lot better than some of the Town Watch would have done, and they've had training."
"Point taken."
"Why don't you offer to train him to properly use that spear of his? If you're going to be his bodyguard, you might as well impart some of your skills to him. A body to guard that can defend itself is that much easier to be guarded, am I right?"
Captain Sealem let out a little chuckle: "Yes, I suppose is at that. You are right, or course: I do him no good by blaming myself for what happened. I shall offer to instruct him.. it seems the proper thing to do. I'm sure the Emperor would approve."
Ah, look, he awakens.
Master Proper, thank the Great Maker you are all right. How do you feel? Can I get you anything?"
