Meanwhile... Tem kicked a zombie in the ribs. "Remember! They're only brainwashed! Don't eat their brains, it'll taste like soap." |

Marcus found a big cooking pot in the center of the camp and hungrily licked his chops. He looked around for something to eat out of. "Hey, can I get something to eat?" |

{ You know, ten10, I have to ask...what, exactly, is the point of your still being here? You're essentially RPing with yourself and it seems rather pointless to me. Unless you're going to bring Tem back to the main party, I personally see no way to justify your interjections of mayhem, amusing as they may be. Back to homework! Also Somm-1 needs to come back because I can't really do anything of import until he does }
Acedia never was the type to do anything that even may possibly attract attention to herself. For this reason, she had remained steadfastly within three yards of Maxwell and anyone else she recognized, quietly feeling useless and superfluous. Her skills rested more in the manipulation of other people, so she would continue to feel this way until the group reached another town or something. { I missed A Charlie Brown Christmas. It makes me sad. -sniffle.- I like Charlie Brown. } |

It was unclear as to whether or not he could see, hear, or feel anything at all, but it seemed as though he could not see, hear, or feel anything that actually happened around him. It was as if all his senses were shunted somehow. |

<Not until he gets a Detect Curse spell. Micheal can tell that there's something magical going on with Acedia, but not exactly what. So, since we already now that she has magical talismans, it's unlikely that he'd ascribe magical activity on her person to a curse.> |

"Ixleflerb! Teleport us out! Anywhere!" yelled Tem, a zombie at his throat. That anywhere just happened to be right on top of Marcus. "Holy crap! Sorry Marcus." he got up. Luckily, Ixleflerb, Fornechk, and Bob were a few feet away. "Like my new look? I bet I could beat you in an arm wrestle now." |

{ Who knows? Taryn does happen to /be/ cursed, so maybe that's what you were thinking of, but her curse has nothing to do with anything right now and if Michael is just noticing that Taryn is cursed, then he's just a wee bit slow, now isn't he? Because she's been that way the whole time. Also, Somm-1, I was waiting for you to post so as not to potentially GM. Not that you strike me as the type to stand there and whine if something doesn't go the way you planned, but still. oo;; } Deciding Eruantian wasn't going anywhere on his own for a while, Taryn picked him up and started toward the encampment where Marcus, Horin, and more people were, carrying the half-elf under her arm as if he were just a parcel. She figured if Prosper could get help in there, maybe someone could fix Eruantian, too. |

Marcus fell to the ground with a squiddly man on top of him. "Watch where you're teleporting, Tem!" Marcus yelled as he picked himself up. "I was just about to have something to eat when you landed on me." He turned and saw the other Flayers. "Who are your friends?" |

"The mage is Ixleflerb, a copier. The ranger is Fornechk, and the chick's Bob. Yes, I know she doesn't look like one, but she IS a Flayer." said Tem. |

Ring of NarluinTM
Warning: Glowing hand of unconcious half-elf may cause combustion with sub-zero temperatures. Keep hand away from flamable materials. Do not attempt to remove ring. Keep out of reach of lizard children. </OOC> |

<OOC: oops.. I fell asleep, it seems.> Captain Sealem responded: "Well, the group of adventurers he's with were on a quest to slay the vicious beast. It was being controled by the Drow, but Micheal the Mage broke their control of it, and then the beat ran amuck. Master Prosper was quite brave, but I think a bit foolish. He could have easily been killed. Were it not for Master Marcus and Master Eruantian, I fear the beast may have devoured him whole. Sadly, I was not fast enough to prevent his injuries. In any case, he is saved now, and you have my thanks for healing him. Here is some gold for your trouble." Sealem deposited two shiny gold coins into Horin's hands. "Say, would you two clerics care to join our party? We may have further need of healers, as it seems that were are destined to encounter yet more dangerous adventures. You see, these Drow want to capture Master Prosper, and so it is our path to oppose the Drow at every turn." |

{ Under the arm, actually, not slung over the shoulder. } The rigid form of the half-elf tended to shift as Taryn walked. Once, the icy hand came in contact with the tall woman's skin. It actually hurt, oddly enough, causing her to (rather unceremoniously) drop him and then pick him up again, wary of that hand now. She made her way to Horin. "Good day," she greeted casually. "I'm Taryn, and this man-shaped log in my arms here is..um.." She forgot his name again. "..Unconscious, so if you could help him out, I'm sure he'd appreciate it. We're with the Lizzardman and the boy he brought in here, in the same party." Taryn propped Eruantian upright again on his feet, supporting him by the shoulders and standing as far away from that glowy hand as she could without letting him fall over. "'Ware that hand, though. Contact with that isn't likely to end pretty." |

"Could you possibly gauge how long that might take, though?" she asked hopefully. In his current state, Eruantian could either be carried to the next destination or strapped onto his own cart and drawn - neither of which left him in a very comfortable position in which to snap out of it. And, as might be expected, Taryn was eager to leave Targos. /Quickly./ |
