She makes it sound like someone grabbed her son off the street and dropped him into Iraq against his will.
It's a shame that he died in a war he may not have agreed with, but he DID sign up for the military. With that action comes a certain risk.
Oh well, even though I don't agree with her, I suppose I should congratulate her for TELLin WHAT SHE THINK!...
What I hate is that whenever someone brings up the fact that the military is voluntary, they tend to get jumped on by crazy people who think that person is somehow placing the blame on the soldiers themselves.
And as much as I support freedom of speech, that freedom comes with responsibility. Words are quite powerful, and though actions speak louder than words, words are themselves actions.
