Which of the 7 deadly sins do you think is worst?

I chose "Anger," but really I think "Wrath" is a much better interpretation. Everybody gets angry--it's only natural. Wrath, on the other hand is something completely different.

As usual, Wikipedia has a pretty good summary of what we're dealing with.

Gluttony with Lust as a close second.

Greed can lead to almost anything bad, so yeah, greed.

I would say lust or pride, mainly because they don't always feel like sins.

I dunno, I think all sins are equally bad. All of 'em. But then again, I'm Protestant.

It's hard to chosoe between anger and greed (And not common anger, I mean like always being angry and taking it out on people) but I'm gonna go with anger.

I chose greed. Money can corrupt even the most moral person. It can also be greed for material items, like a collectible item that you want so bad you'll fight someone for it.

I had a tough choice between Greed and Gluttony. I chose Gluttony, because, by doing this, you're eating excess food YOU don't need and you see people in other countries starving to death. I find that just plain evil and cruel.

Edit: Those commercials make me sad, the ones about the starving people... But, the animal ones suprisingly make me WAY more sad, the puppies are so cute but they're dying, abused, left out, and hated by their owners. Just think of the pain... :-( Ok Toastpaint.
(Yes, you may not think it but I'm a guy! I just love animals... ;)

I chose Pride...though actually, I think Pride and Greed tie for first. I think at least 90% of the world's evils can be summed up to people either being too selfish or too prideful...or some combination of the two.

I heard this from someone. All sins are based on stealing. Murder is stealing life. Rape is stealing pride and virginity. Lying is stealing the truth. Gluttony is stealing food from someone else for your use.

I'd Say greed.

Pride here.

When you start to think that you don't need anyone or anything else, you are in some serious trouble. I also feel that pride leads to any of the others.

That is true. Pride is the downfall of most tragic heroes in traditional Greek tragedies (which, tragically, are pretty formulaic, all folowing the same basic guidelines.

I would probably say that, in the big picture, Anger/Wrath is the worst, as it arguably leads to the most deadly results. As far as my own life is concerned, though, it's definitely Sloth.

In the eyes of God all sins are equally evil. But I'm human so I think pornography, child abuse, rape and beastiality are the worst. So I'm guessing Lust is the worst.

yeah all sins are bad but God does say seven sins that he detests

The worst one? Depends on how you define worst. On one hand, you could be referring to the consequences of committing that particular sin, or maybe the hurt it might cause yourself or others. Or perhaps which one would put your soul in the most danger. If I were to use the last criterion, then I'd have to say Pride. Someone who is prideful is less likely to recognize their need for redeeming grace.

BTW, Pride in this context is probably best defined in terms of Arrogance rather than Self-Esteem. Self-esteem is good; arrogance is bad.

I'm a sayin Pride. I say that because if you are humble, you can beat the other 6. Whereas if you are filled with pride you can't (or won't) repent of the other ones. So putting pride out of the question (since it is what causes/enables the rest of them), I'm gonna say Lust next then sloth.

I meant to ask...where exactly in the Bible are these 7 Sins spelled out? I was never able to find them...

After a bit of thinking I went with anger. If you're filled with anger, it can cloud your judgement, which can lead to other sins.

Well, I think that it definitely isn't Lust, but then again I'm just going by Dante (in the Inferno, Lust was the one of the least of the 7 deadly sins, because it's the closest one to love).

I picked Envy, because it can lead to other sins very easily.

I'd say either Envy or Anger. They seem like the source of most problems.

Greed. It causes too much grief and leads to the other sins very easily.

Lust is very different from love. However, it's pretty much a natural instinct, so I wouldn't say it's very bad.

But arn't all of the sins a natural instinct that we must overcome?

I don't think so. Some people are completely frree of greed their whole life. It depends on the person.

Sloth.

Mostly because of this poem, I'd say. Good ol' Baudelaire.

I'm guilty of it beyond many other things, but I'd say inaction is more damaging in general than taking the wrong action. But then again, I'm not speaking from a truly biblical and religious standpoint.
