Hmm...
Worth your twenty bucks?

You decide. =P

Funny idea. I don't see why you can't just mail the White House yourself though, instead of wasting $20 for these guys to do it.

Heh heh, I'd love to see what my mom's insult(s) would be if she ever decided to try this.

It's kind of a novel idea, but I think they're kinda asking for trouble by creating it - I can't see it not being taken too far.

Well, they are required by law to report serious threats. I don't see the White House, never mind the president, actually repsonding to any of the mundane insults. Still don't see why it's worth 20 clams though.

Does anyone still use 'clams'? Didn't think so. -Krazed Squirell

Well, I just told my anti-bush best friend about it. He says it's a waste of moolah.

Does anyone use moolah anymore?

No, but I think green is still legal tender.

I say moolah all the time! Anywho, I'm all for free-speech, and if you wanna blow an Andrew Jackson that's fine by me, but I'll keep my money.

George W. Bush is one of the awesomest guys to hit the planet, so he deserves to be president. People just try to blame him for everything and criticize every word he ever says, and if anything bad happens, we all know it's his fault (sarcasm). I'm glad that we have a good role model as our president.

Yeah, the bad sutff that happens isn't ALL his fault. The US is NOT run by one person.

But I toastpaint: I would not insult him for $20, even if I did hate him. I mean, I can't even vote and I probably couldn't say anything valid besides "Hey- you suck".

It should also be noted that you can insult the president for free. People do it all the time. They have a right to do that.
If you TELL WHAT U THINK!, though, be prepared. People might not like it, and the might TELL WHAT U THINK! right back at ya.

I'm pretty sure you can just email him for free...

I think. I mean, I know for a fact that some kid annoymously emailed a death threat from a computer in our school, and the secert friggin' service came, arrested him, and sent him to court and he got expelled from school.

Of course, this happened before I went to that school. Boo.

That, kiddies, is why you don't make threats towards the president. Jack Bauer barely gets away with that, and he's Jack freakin' Bauer.

Not only that but Jack Bauer can defy physics. Don't insult the president with the usual mindless bashing that people do that portray him as the dumbest man alive. Actually use something. Like the whole port deal thing. I was against it. And I won't waste 20 dollars to do It. I did it for free on a radio talk show.

Or, how about the NSA's [s]wiretapping scandal[/s] phone call database?

Don't make any calls that threaten the president or plan terrorist attacks and you're ok.
I, for one feel sorry for the NSA agents that have to screen my calls to Holly and Papa Johns.

So I've been hearing that they're going to do something involving people you -talk to- that have talked to someone else.

What if my cousin's barber's son's wife's cousin's veterinarian's husband's friend's cousin talked to some creepy guy named Chuck who is related in some way with Al-Qaeda?

Of course, it wouldn't go that far.

Theroetically, if you were to joke around with a friend or use certain slang, the NSA will be after you. What if a high schooler is joking about blowing up his school? Or if someone calls something that will happen a "blow up?" I truly doubt, though, that the NSA will really care unless you go through a relay procedure of How To Build A Bomb. But you can easily find that information out elsewhere. It's useless, really. The NSA is not going to get anything useful, as the people they're worrying about stay current. After the early publication, do you really think the terrorist groups are going to talk over the phone? I think the internet will play a much larger part in any operations for the foreseeable future. The program only serves to get innocent people in trouble.

Actually, these days, I worry more about Homeland Security. Makes me glad I'm a 36-year-old man and not a 14-year-old girl.
