[s]Holy crap, awesome strikethrough![/s] Er, um. Yeah. My aim's not so good usually, but lately I've been able to make headshots with wads of paper. I also got a couple of those guns that shoot pellets. But really, I'm good with whips --weapons of torture. Not defense, torture. That's useful. xD I started working out, though. I hope that I wont need any real weapons. (Or that I at least look tougher than I really am.... ) |

I think extreme violence isn't necessary or nudity (sexual or otherwise). The reason being after watching a movie with violence most people wouldn't think about blowing someone's head off or whatever. Whereas with nudity (especially in a sexual way) easily leads to lust, which is not good. Lust effects us far more. After watching a movie with some sex and nudity in it you will probably feel more inclined to watch more of it to satisfy yourself or expect unrealistic expectations or your partner. I think sex is great if you're married and love each other and respect one another, but seriously the media doesn't show that side much (or very well). |

It seems to me you think one thing and then try to look for shreds of evidence to defend that stance afterwards. Sex doesn't hurt people. "Unrealistic expectations" is just being silly. |

Yeah, well I think that if it was ok to show nipples on TV, then some shows would show nipples all the time... I mean, they haveto draw the line somewhere, and I think they'd rather be on the safe side than the not so safe side. |

I think sex is great if you're married and love each other and respect one another, but seriously the media doesn't show that side much (or very well). It sounds resonable, but after I watch a sex scene in a movie, I don't feel anything. You usually can't see much of anything in those movies, anyway, unless you're watching a porno. So I don't think that really works. DukeNuke wrote: Yeah, well I think that if it was ok to show nipples on TV, then some shows would show nipples all the time... Yeah, some shows would, but just because you have the option to doesn't mean everyone will. Actually, if it's a common occurance, people will be desensitized to it, and then no one would really care anymore. It's like violence. Not many people complain when there's violence on TV, because it's on there all the time. |

I'm still waiting for another female to tell me she wouldn't mind walking around topless outside. (Running total: 1) I wonder why the response has been less than enthusiastic, if nipples don't matter? I mean, if they're the same as male nipples, what's the big deal, right? |

I wouldn't mind walking around topless outside if it wasn't for the fact that I'd get in trouble for it. When I'm "finished", I desperately want to run naked somewhere. |

Yeah, only the beaches are nude.
But seriously, sex isn't as taboo over there. Par exemple, in Paris I saw a billboard of a nude woman who had a glass of red wine in front of her "area"; in black and white, it looked like a "bush". |

Um, I hardly think that the beaches of Normandy are now nude beaches. I think they are memorials and American cemeteries now. The nude beaches are towards the south, I believe, on the coast of the Mediterranean. But toastpaint. |

But toastpaint. no, they are normandy, they are nude beaches, all the way down to Pointe Du Hoc, through Dog Red Sector of Omaha, straight on down to Sword Beach. |

I wouldn't. In fact, if it were socially acceptable, I'd probably go topless a lot during the summer. |

I live in Canada. If I went topless I'd get frostbite.
Seriously, no. I'm not at all in good shape so I wear baggy clothes a lot. >.> |

I wonder why the response has been less than enthusiastic, if nipples don't matter? I mean, if they're the same as male nipples, what's the big deal, right? They really are the same, they showed this one thing on Animal Planet's most extreme where one man nursed a baby and it swelled up like a sack of flab. They showed the man's nipple swelled up. |

I think I remember seeing that. This reminds me: Before Speech class was about to start a semester ago, someone was going to do a speech complaining about this stuff. I mentioned to her "Yeah, some mens' man-boobs are bigger than some females'." It's true and you all know it. x_x Yet they don't get censored, when most people really don't want to see that. xD Oi, double-standards. |
