Recently I've been playing this game called Blockland. Basically it's a game where you can build with Legos online without the need for competition. I just got into it yesterday and I thought I should share it with the others.

http://www.returntoblockland.com/

You'll need to download this.

IMPORTANT
YOU NEED TO CLICK ON "PLAY RTB.BAT" NOT "BLOCKLAND.EXE"!!

Hope to see you online soon! :)

Ehhhh. I have no idea how I'm supposed to be making this work. The pain! At least I know how to move around...

Well, you could scream at your computer really loudly in German, and smash the kayboard against the desk, and give yourself a heart attack.

Alright, I realise I should've probably made a quick tutorial to get people started. Sorry to all. >_<

Okay, soooo...where to start... Movement? Okay, movement.

As you have guessed, W, S, A and D control movement of your character. However, there is also Spacebar to jump and Right-click to fly. You can also press Q to freeze yourself in the air (for example, for getting an aerial view of your house).

As for building things, you can place a block by pressing one of the block numbers - 1, 2, 3, and 4. There are actually multiple blocks in these categories, and you can flip through them with the mouse wheel.

Once you have decided on a block, you can (temporarily) place it by Left-clicking on the LEGO GROUND (not normal ground). You can then move it around by pressing these numpad keys: 8 (Forward/Away from you), 2 (Backward/Toward you), 4 (To your left), 6 (To your right) 5 (One step down), and + (One step up).

Once you have decided where to place your block, you can finalise it by pressing Numpad Enter. You may now either make a door/elevator out of it (switch to the wrench, in category 5), spraypaint it (Category 6), or perhaps you randomly decided you hate it and want to tear it down (Hammer, Category 5) or you can move on to the next block.

That's pretty much the basics. You can always Press Ctrl+S to make some people your friends, change your appearance and such, or you can change settings by pressing Ctrl+O. (You can also get more controls from here.)

Anything I missed, feel free to ask me.

Pretty cool game, but you forgot to mention a very important thing - Right mouse click is jetpack. I spent a while trying to build stairs, then trying to build an elevator, before I figured out about he jetpack.

Oh, it is in the tutorial thing I put up, only it's in there as "flying". Soooo....

I'm coming onto the "Free Build Dedicated" server. Anybody who wants to ask a question, do so from there.

Oh, great. The dumb setup didn't create a folder WITHIN Program files, it just put all its crap in there. Also, I can't find it under Add or Remove Programs, so I can't remove it all quickly.

Somebody post where I can find the files on the system so I can clear this out and do it CORRECTLY this time.

Hm. You sure you're not playing the game while deleting it? Or make sure that nothing else is using it. I never had trouble deleting mine when I had problems..

In the 5 section. Press 5 once and you'll get the hammer, press it again for the wrench.

You might be in a server where they don't let you use the wrench, or, if you have the wrench equipped but can't use it, you may be in a room where you can't alter objects other than the ones you've made. Make sure you're close enough to the object when you click.
