I apologize but I edited it. I went through that list and there were no fictional holidays.

Oh, phoo on you for spoiling our fun. :P

Naah, I understand. XD

For future reference , the letter "L" section of "Fictional Holidays" inexplicably had "List of Homestar Runner characters" written in it.
Oh, oh I see. Err, that wasn't me, I thought it was the "List of Neologisms in The Simpsons" link. When I went and saw that category I never saw that.

Ha! I like the way that Mensa have hijacked a bunch of dead people to join their club. ;)

It isn't even that, I think that it's funny that it took Mensa so long to induct So-crates (a cookie to whoever gets the movie refrence first). He was inducted in 2004, and Mensa's been around since 1946.

Here's a few more interesting ones:

List of Fictional Languages

*Nadsat is the name of the part-British English and part-Russian slang psudo-language in Anthony Burgess' novel A Clockwork Orange.

"Big bad sex words" was another funny one. What, was that article written by a six-year-old or something?

So I was rocking out (and still am) and thought I'd look up some of music terms and equipment:

Breakdown*

Double Bass (sometimes known as a 'Double Kick')

China and Splash cymbals (both common during breakdowns)

*A breakdown is a place in a piece of music (usually punk, metal or a combination of the two) where the song slows to 4/4 time (regardless of how fast the song previously was) to give the gituarists a chance to play something more rhythmically oriented and is often backed by a simple beat by the drummer using the bass drum and a double kick, splash or china cymbal or a combination of the two.

Pieing someone in protest???? They could've picked a less stupidly hilarious way of protesting. Although I suppose this would humiliate that person.

In my public speech class we have to do debates and speeches of persuasion. I think for my main point I'm going to pie my opponent. Let's see them counter point that!
