I'm a HRWiki veteran, but my post count is crap compared to my join date. And compared to Acekirby's. Remember when I used to have a gabazillion Homsar avatars? And when I used to be called "DumDeDum435"? And when I didn't know how to capitalise words? I'm still slightly active. Edited for misspellings 'n' such. |

Last summer was the best thing that ever... internet... happened to me. Yeah, we need to start having massive IRC chats again. And we can be all like, "Hey hey!" I still remember that one time the 509 had started up and I was karaoke-ing with Sui and FireBird. Good times, man, good times. edit: Oh! And I still remember the Lech Licenses! Head of Female Lech, reporting for duty.

Suppose I haven't ever really gotten over that first impression. ![]() Huh - and in my search for that first post ('cos I knew it would be an interesting one ) I just noticed now that you joined in January 2005.
For some reason, I presumed you joined after me. (Yeah, and I know your join-date is written right under your avatar. Call me unobservant.) |

Alright, here are my memmories: 1. I remember a time back before I broke 500 posts that the off subject section of the forum only had the "Off Topic" and the "Getting to Know you" forums. 2.I can remember a time when we got a post added to our count for participating in a forum game. 3. I can remember a time before JoeyDay got married and dissapeared from the forums. 4. I can remember the day Ramrod joined, he typed only in blue for a good 10 of his first posts. 5. I can remember a time when Naked Lunch and I were a tag team duo of authors writing the unfinished epic: "Star Lech". 6. I remember a time before the sig size rules, people had 2 or 3 banners at a time. 7. I can remember a time when a rotating avatar made you too-cool-for-school. 8. I remember a time when I could go back to the last archived page of Off Topic and see Agentseethroo's various locked instant messanger threads. 9. I remember posting in the thread called (or something to the effect of) "What religion do you adhere to?" that would eventually spawn the entire R&P board. 10. I remember a time when Furrykef would post in all the forums and not just R&P. 11. I remember a time before The Experemental Film joined. 12. I can remember bumping into small bits of the fallout from Gemini's leaving on not-such-good-terms. 13. I can remember seeing Jones' first use of the word "lech". I'll post more as I think of them. Edit!: 14. I can remember a time before MHG. |

Here's a couple more: 15. I can remember a time before fads. Before Kirby, before Baby Strong Bad, before TELL WHAT U THINK. The only thing that resembled a fad was the overuse of the word "lech" but I don't think that's going to go away any time soon, I mean we have an icon for it now 16. I can remember a time before Acekirby 17. I can remember a time when the only people looking after the forums were JoeyDay,Tom,Stu and IJ. This was before Agentseethroo, Lunar Jesty,Dark Grapefruit and MHG and a loooooong time before Domar. More coming as I can think of them. |

Tor, the sad part is that I can remember all that stuff that you have stated as well. I can Remember Gemini being an admin. I remember him leaving because of the R&P forum. |

Well, I have no idea how long you were a lurker before joining the forums, so I can only base my memories of the forum's history on the day that users joined and left. Heck, you may have been here longer than me as a lurker. |

Man. Compared to a lot of you people, I'm a mere forum youngster! However, I CAN look down upon some of our even newer members. Y'know, people like Somm-1, and alberto, and Capt. Ido Nos, and Teh Ch8t, and....... *etc, etc, etc* Seriously, 2005 seems like a long time ago, don't it? Fond rememberies indeed..... I mean, 2005 is the year I got into The Simpsons.... it seems like I've always loved The Simpsons now. I can't remember much at all from the 2005 days...... my memory stinks. Really stinks. But still. I seem to recall those were wonderful days. As a matter of fact, I'm going to look back on some of my first posts right now! EDIT: Oh, does anyone remember my old username? Or, come to think of it, old usernames? Oh, and the time when DG got mad at me because of my banner? No, I'm not saying what. I'm seeing if any of YOU can recall it. (And trust me, there is nothing worse than getting DG mad at you. Even way back then I knew that.) |

I don't remember, the only people I know who have changed their names are Funky, COLA and Ace. |

I remember life before COLA. Wasn't Einoo's name just "Einoo" with no Spork at the end? |

I rememberie my first day. Ju Ju Master posted loads in the Forum Games section that day. Because of that, he was the first person who's username I memorised. Come to think of it, he STILL posts loads in the games forum.

I remember my first day too. Funk had a strong bad avatar. I didn't see Ju Ju until sometime after. My first post was in a discussion about TGS ending. I was a lurker before I joined though, so I remember a lot other stuff. Like..uhh...Black Metal posting lots and lots and lots. And other stuff. |
