Those teams from the Balkans are pretty good. Croatia finished third in 1998, so they are pretty good.Totally - they've got 10-to-1 odds of winning (according to my nephew). They played quite strongly last night - they're not going to be push-overs when they play against Oz. And speaking of last night, Brazil didn't play brilliantly at all. They looked lethargic out there, except for Ronaldinio and Kaka. |

Meh, yeah, they'll probably pick up the pace towards the end of the group stages. Anyway, great game between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia last night. The highlight: Tunisia scoring the drawing second goal in the 92nd minute. (Of course, it would have been better if it were a winning goal, but hey ho). |

The Germany-Poland match was great. 1-0 win and the goal coming in extra time. Poland battled the majority of that half with 10 men after a redcard and they were able to keep up with that German offense, siepacz! |

For those of you who want to watch World Cup football but your desired match or language is not carried by your local TV provider, check out the TVU service via http://www.viidoo.com. It streams a feed of various sports channels through the internet (including Chinese channels and ESPN feeds). Be warned, though, that you'll need to have a FAST internet connection. Even a DSL conection might skip and stutter. Cable modems and T1 connections will fare better. 56K dial-up users need not apply. The good part is that it's free, but it's really network intensive for the end user. |

So England has qualified for the next round - despite people saying that their play wasn't up to scratch. Hey cool - my neighbour said today that he was looking for a website like that. Very handy. |

I thought their game against T&T was alright. But I really want T&T to score. |

Hey TCOC, how was that Brazil/Aussie game? How does it feel to be in a must win against Croatia? Oh and one more thing, how do you like your crow? |

While we're taunting each other, why don't we discuss the USA's performance..... hmmmm?
Tell ya what, a surprisingly boring game between Oz and Brasil. The result was, well, maybe what was expected. But the Brasilians are not on form at all this year. Of course, Ronaldo has been having issues with his health and wealth - but what's the excuse of the rest of them? WHF's verdict: They need an injection of new blood. Stat. |

Korea is winning and beating France. They turned around in the first half by going from 0-1 France to 2-1 Korea. Nice playing guys! |

I wouldn't be over-confident about the US winning against Italy. Let's have a look at the Mansion odds: Australia: 100/1 Croatia: 125/1 USA: 300/1 Italy: 10/1 Hmm, TWUT!, or something. |

WHF, we tied Italy. Italy is now going to to face the Czech Republic. We are going on to face Ghana. |

The Czechs themselves are ranked pretty high (though they've been missing some top players through injury). A return to the Mansion odds: Italy: 10/1 USA: 300/1 Ghana: 500/1 Czech Rep: 25/1 |
